No.1 - I am not in favour of sacking wenger cos we havent won anything....I am in favour of sacking him cos it is his refusal to tackle issues that have existed for the last few seasons that are preventing us from winning trophies. If he buys a quality keeper and quality cb and we still dont win anything then I will still look back and say that at least the guy recognised the problems and rectified them so it wasnt the same old problams holding us back
No. 2 - I dont give a flying fcuk what type of football we play. I am over 40 now so have grown up supporting the club when we played some poor football and I recognise that we were always called boring Arsenal so this fancy dan football should be the icing on the cake as far as I am concerned and not the cake itself as many seem to think
No.3 - you said it yourself......lesser clubs would be happy with what we have but we are The Arsenal and should be aiming higher no ?
Agreed we need a keeper but we still have 2 weeks until the deadline, Wenger knows he needs a keeper. Unfortunately we are not Man City an won't just throw money at the the problem, this is not Wenger's fault though, this is the culture of the board, we've always been shrew (often to our own detriment). Our board are tight, shrewd all bastards and will only pay what they consider to be a favourable (financially) keeper.
Wenger is very good at provising a smoke screen, he toes the party line so we often hear bollocks. Do we really beleve he "did not see" all those incidents involving Arsenal players all those years ago?
I do like this board but at times the whinging and doom mongering really does my head in....only 1 game in, save the whinging until the end of the season.
And yes I was signing 'One Arsene Wenger.' But Arsene, please sign a keeper and a new centre-half. And play Gibbs instead of Clichy. That is all
Agreed - we are The Arsenal and we should and we are aiming higher. I don't think the Wenger Pro brigade are satisfied and content with what we have, just that we recognse this is part of a bigger plan or project and the last 5 seasons are not reasons enough to have him replaced or even cosider this as an option. The man has brought us more succes than most of us saw in two decades in the 70's and 80's!

Sorry, I'm a bit pissed but we deserve better and we're not getting it. Just paid £66 plus flights accomodation for the Bolton game and we are seriously being sold short.
The 'people' singing are the ones who went up to Liverpool and sang the managers name maybe in appreciation of the manager's past, maybe because one person starts up and we all join in to drown out the scousers(not too hard, they were f'ing quite till manuel fapped) or maybe because we just wanted to.
Whatever his faults he is still our f'ing manager and I'd rather hear that song than listeneing to t***s calling him a paedophile.
We're only 1 game in but that 1 game looked exactly the same as the past few 'failed' seasons! It really is negligent for a so called 'top' manager to blatantly ignore obvious failings in his team season after season, there really is no excuse.
If Wenger went out and signed a goalkeeper with a decent pedigree and he ended up having a nightmare in goal, you couldn't berate Wenger as much because at least he would have tried to address the issue. The problem remains.....that he refuses to address these issues and maintains that if he gives them enough time and enough 'goes', they'll come good! In the meantime the team are suffering and we're losing our better players who get fed up playing with mediocrity.
I just got back from the match and no way did i join in the stupid only one wenger song. The man is an idiot and thankfully his name was only sang once. Today was just the same old shit but a new season. He does not desreve to have his name sang. Trust me i wasnt alone when not takimg part with that fuck stupid chant!

He’s always had a bit of a semi for Wenger from what I recall, except for when we’ve been playing his teams & Wenger’s complained about their tactics of course.
