London is an incredibly expensive place...
I stayed in Bayswater my first few days over there. The second time over I stayed near Victoria station. Staying a few days is probably a lot different to staying a couple of years though.

good shout, quartz. i'm also a marketing manager here in brazil, and the course i'll be studying in london is about marketing too, so maybe that's another area where they could take me as a part timer in. i'll send my resume to them, maybe the contact i have with them for being in the supporters club comitee will count for something too!
honestly, that was a great idea. i won't lie to anyone, the course is merely an excuse to figure out what living in london is like and to watch arsenal for an entire year...
