Great news if true but I'm not getting carried away just yet.

Why? Because there can't be another Club or manager in the world that would be stupid enough to give shite like Bender & Denilson the same weekly salary and the same 5 year contracts. These 2 wastes of space might be shit footballers but they know when they're well off!!

Really hope I'm wrong but I expect them both to stay because Wenger obviously rates 'em and who else would want 'em??

Just like Denilson its a load of bullshit to get an improved contract. im pretty sure both of them will still be with us next year

Nah, i'm surprised Denilson has chosen to go but have no doubt he will now that he has said he wants to, but i thought Bendtner would go this summer...I'm guessing he thought about going last year and was convinced not to and that he had a bright future with us ...
But i doubt the bright future he was promised included sitting on the bench most of the season and playing on the wing when he wasn't...He is far too full of himself and far too ambitious to waste any more time with us...

As i said on the Denilson thread i kind of respect them for making the decision to go because the manager wouldn't get rid of them, they could just keep on picking up their wages for very little in return..easy life..
Hopefully two or three others will be prompted by their actions to do the same, then we can get the clear out that was obviously needed, it's just a pity the manager wasn't capable of doing his job and implementing the clear out himself...

We should rake in around 20m for the two of them which will give Wenger no excuses for not buying at least one quality player this summer...though i'm sure he'll find one

If he wants to go, then go. Can't blame him frankly. No playing time, playing out of position when he DOES play, and atrocious service from the side players leaving him with nothing useful in the air.

He is a bit of a deluded fellow, but part of me also thinks he might bag some goals somewhere else.

Sadly we're stuck in 4-3-3 with RVP at CF even though he should be an SS in the DB10 style role.
