Phil Jones off to...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Who is Phil Jones? :?
Carl Jenkinson's mate.

Seriously, I've just seen that the Lancs Telegraph said that Jones spoke to Arsene last night before making his decision. Also tweeted by Youngguns.
We are even missing out on youngsters now!!!! The Wenger myth is slowly crumbling, believe brothers he'll be gone within 20 years :barscarf:

No surprise he choose them over us, we're no longer a big draw for players anymore and the others offer better money.

Be realistic, is he really a big player? £17m for a 19 year old center back who has never played a full international game?

Good job Arsenal have 2 very very good young center backs coming through ourselves Miquel and Bartley.

No point in crying over missing out on him, we need an experienced signing, not an average over priced English player who has proved nothing in his career.

Not getting confused with Dann by any chance? He's a Pool fan.

Not sure about Jones but I believe he's not.

Utd sign Phil Jones
Mousers get Henderson

We settle for Jenkinson.

The difference in ambition is there for all to see.
