Worse again it has changed to 1.30pm on the sunday

FFS I have booked my flights some time ago and will cost me now to change them  How will that leave our plans to play the mackem fans now ? Really look forward to playing that game and for the craic afterwards :(
If the Mackems are overnighting it in Laaahndahn on the Saturday we could play them Sat afternoon? But it seriously dilutes the craic for the day doesn't it?
Yeah it will. Can't we play them at about 8? Then a good few hours to drink? Or can't your horse and cart get you here for 8?

8am is too early for most people cos am sure there will be many, esp inc those mackems, who will be on the piss on the saturday night and it is probably not reasonable to expect them to play it that early. Personally it wouldnt bother me playing it that early but for the majority it could be an issue.

I would think that if the mackems were down for sat night then playing it on the sat evening is probably our best option. Sadly I just dont see it working out cos I suppose a lot of them would only be travelling down on the day :(

Chunky how soon can you sort this one out one way or another mate ?

Anybody know if the club has said it will refund travel costs like they did last season with the late change of another premier league match.

Or are we on our own on this one ???

I think refund was only offered last year coz it was real short notice :?:

But I suppose no harm in trying

Wasn't the late change last year the Stoke game when the weather turned to shite on the day? Or are you thinking of another?

The rearranged Stoke game in February was scheduled for Tuesday but got put back to Wednesday about a week before coz the Orient cup game was put on the TV on sunday.

What a load of cock!

I will speak to Baldie in the Sky and get him to do something evil to those responsible!

Seriously, this has fucked it!

Even if everyone could still make it pre-match would be shit being an early kick off!

Not good!
