FA Cup 3rd round draw
Re: FA Cup 3rd round draw
The game comes in the same month that we play City, Chelsea and Liverpool as well as (hopefully) two legs of the League Cup semi final
I expect to see us get whipped down at the Liberty with Djourou, Yennaris, Miquel, Flapper, the Chamster, the lazy Russian and co. all performing to their usual levels of ineptitude.

even though none of them have played for a while they'll still be "jaded"SteveO 35 wrote:The game comes in the same month that we play City, Chelsea and Liverpool as well as (hopefully) two legs of the League Cup semi final

Re: FA Cup 3rd round draw
In 2 weeks we'll draw Barca whores/Madrid/Dortmund/Valencia all of who willl bum us, if(and right now it is if) we get past Bradford, I'm not looking forward to being drawn against Norwich or Swansea over 2 legs in the C1 cup.
Was really hoping for a decent run in the cup.....oh well never mind see, what next year's 3rd round draw brings.
The season is over by the 1st week in January. That's going to be pretty special even for us.

Yip, this is the time of the season when Wengers incompetence reaches it's peak as he swaps and changes line ups without a fucking notion as to what he is doing.SteveO 35 wrote:The game comes in the same month that we play City, Chelsea and Liverpool as well as (hopefully) two legs of the League Cup semi final

Yeah, with a quick stop over in York and lunch in Luton.
Re: FA Cup 3rd round draw
TBF this would not be an upset on the scale of those you quote. After all they are above us in the league.GranadaJoe wrote:Swansea!!! Is somebody taking the piss? Is the coach going to go via Wrexham, Swindon, Walsall and maybe Loughborough, just for old times sake!

You guys
This tie is a month away
Anything can happen
We may have Been on a great run of wins.
Swansea are decent but FFS they won't beat us again
2-0 to us and a home round four tie

Re: FA Cup 3rd round draw
Yes the tie is a couple of months away, but considering we have been playing mostly shit for over 3 months now, there's not too much cause for optimism.
I still think we've played <10 acceptable halves of football in the whole season to date.
And in terms of top quality, apart from the 2nd half of West Ham away, has there been ANY other time where we've hit a really high level throughout the whole half? I say no. Reading, Scum, Liverpool arguably.

Re: FA Cup 3rd round draw
Take away West Ham, Liverpool and Southampton, and possibly City, and we've disappointed every game to varying degrees. 4 good performances out of 22. And that's with the added factors of Southampton being absolute dog turd and us contriving to blow a golden opportunity to beat City away by defending set pieces shite (again) and playing Forehead Wanker up top. And if anybody suggests that Reading can be construed on the whole as a good performance ...Robin_L wrote:Yes the tie is a couple of months away, but considering we have been playing mostly shit for over 3 months now, there's not too much cause for optimism.
