FA Cup 3rd round draw

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

FA Cup 3rd round draw

Post by Chips and Chocolate »

It's that time of the year again!
Tomorrow is the day most football fans have been waiting for since the start of the season (well it used to be!).
There's a lot wrong at the club at the moment but I wouldn't say no to good day out at Wembley in the merry month of May.

Who do you want? Lower-league team at home? Big team away, a local derby or a trip down memory lane to a ground with terraces?

Personnaly I'd love Everton, Tranmere, York, Oldham or one of the Sheffield clubs away, don't ask me why.

Manchester United, away.

8-2 could be beaten if it happens.

If Lord Wenger is going to use cup games as an excuse for being 'a little bit jaded' and do his usual when it comes to the 5th round and play a weakened team against PL opposition, it hardly matters who we get.

There's only £2m or so prize money on offer so I'm sure he's under strict instructions not to let it interfere with the pursuit of the Virtual Trophy.

We'll probably get our way past a couple of giants like MK Dons and Oldham, before being draw away to Stoke/Sunderland and watching Fabianski, Djourou and Squillaci produce their usual horror show

I hope we get someone we have never played b4 so a certain superfan can say he went to far flung fields.
