See my above post. United and City both play 3 times before then in the PL. If Citeh drop any points and United don't (or if Citeh drop more than them) then United will be champions before we play them as the lead will be greater than 12 points with only 4 games left.Brady's left peg wrote:Shitty need to drop 4 points, that is if manure don't drop any.Dan_85 wrote:I absolutely fucking hate the thought of this happening, it makes me sick. With a bit of luck every other home supporter will do the same thing and we can register our disgust at another shit season by leaving the stadium nigh on empty before the 90 is up.

Are you seriously telling me beck, you clapped off the team after the performance against Blackburn for instance. Because if you were happy with that debacle I am truly amazed. I have no problem with clapping off the players when they have put in a shift, even if they loose as long as they have given 100% I am happy. But there is no way I would applaud some of the inept, pathetic and frankly piss poor performances we have seen this season.beck wrote:never left an arsenal game before the end in my lifeBrady's left peg wrote:I will be there hoping to see us smash the manc *word censored*, stop them winning the title on our patch and with a little bit of luck watch Robin Van Judas get sent off for being....... well Robin Van Judas!

I really despair at some of our supporters, what chance have we got of forcing change when they are happy at watching a toothless team producing insipid football.........I give up!

why would i be happy? as you said it was a toothless display that saw us out the fa cup
but i would never leave a game early and i don,t go into any game believing we will get beat.
we could lose a tight contest against utd and they could well win the league at our place under those circumstances would our team not be worthy of being clapped off the pitch?
i support the arsenal mate and not just for that day but all the days that follow.
i clap for my grandad who 1st took me and is no longer alive to clap the team off the pitch
i am unhappy with events at the club and for that reason will not be renewing my season ticket this summer
it is killing me to do so but being told by our manager that 4th is a trophy and domestic cups don,t matter
and watching window after window come and go and defensive mistakes not fixed for the last 5 years means i have reached my tipping point.
i will still go but i will go to the games that are not on tv and leave the chelseas man utd etc to the audience they now crave.
i watched a rather poor side in the mid 70,s but always believed we were striving to be the best we could be.
that does,nt seem to be the case now
we have a stubborn man in charge who is married to a plan that needed fine tuning but he has refused to do so
i don,t believe everything is shit but we are in a situation where the board are happy with the status quo and wenger with his good salary is complicit.
however some people seem to think everything is shit and i won,t have it
this is a great club and when wenger leaves there will be a line round the block for the managers job
just because i concentrate on positives does not mean i am happy about everything going on at the club

Ok after reading your reply it is obvious that you feel the same way about the club as the vast majority on here do, I will point out that I have only ever left a game early once and that was for a family emergency and it is not something that I would normally suggest, in addition I also said only in the event of us losing.beck wrote:no mate there are certain games blackburn being 1 of them where it is difficult to clap the team offBrady's left peg wrote:Are you seriously telling me beck, you clapped off the team after the performance against Blackburn for instance. However I feel that all the time we accept mediocrity, the board will quite happily sit back and do nothing, perhaps a mass showing of disgust is what the board needs. Then again the geriatric old farts probably wouldn't even notice we had left the ground early.

if you're going to make up bizarre fantasy scenarios to wind yourself up
you may as well have Wenger eating school children
grinning about losing indeed, the man's a horrifically bad loser (good)
one of his main weaknesses is STICKING with his ideas - not suddenly insanely playing strikers at leftback
there's so much to actually be annoyed about
- it baffles me that people on here still decide to create their own imaginary problems...

Re: ManUre being able to win the league at the Grove good
I'd guess ManUre will beat Villa at home
if Sperz have beaten ManShitty that will be enough for the title
meaning we have to give them a guard of honour, wankers
if Sperz drew with City, then a draw at the Grove will be enough for ManUre to win the league
if City win at the shithole then a ManUre win gives them the title
lets just batter them

Citeh also play Whammers before then as well.
At the end of the day they can't win the league at our ground unless we let them.
