ManUre being able to win the league at the Grove good
ManUre able to win the league would make it a huge, high pressure game,
and therefore would make it even more worthwhile beating them
any games that's horrific to lose - would be extra better to win
can't stomach the idea of them winning the league at our place
but how much fun would it be stopping them...?
we've had a crap season, not even challenged anything we have left is by its nature smalltime
but we want to be a rival to ManUre next season, beating them would be a good start
and therefore would make it even more worthwhile beating them

Can't imagine anything more painful than RVPrick celebrating the league at the Grove. Early prediction I'm going for a draw or a narrow win. I'm travelling from Bahrain just to attend this game, so the boys better show up!!!
Re: ManUre being able to win the league at the Grove good
I was hoping they would win last night and have the thing sorted long before they came to us .
If they have to win it at ours you can expect 40,000 ticketless plastics from the home counties swarming all over Islington ! Urgh Perish the thought

Well, I'm probably in the minority here, but I hope they do win it at our place, to give them a guard of honour would just underline how far we've fallen and will hopefully give us and our club a kick up the arse... I doubt it though, not with the money that finishing 3rd or 4th brings even though we'll finish closer in points terms to QPR than Man U.
Re: ManUre being able to win the league at the Grove good
I think them actually winning it at our place would be worse and something their fans would savour more than the traditional guard of honour.franksav63 wrote:Well, I'm probably in the minority here, but I hope they do win it at our place, to give them a guard of honour would just underline how far we've fallen and will hopefully give us and our club a kick up the arse... Hmmm.. either or Sid for me, I don't really care anymore, I also hate the fact that we're odds-on to get back into the top 4 again, nothing will change ever if we continue to get into this *word censored* of a competition, the mongs that follow our club will grow and get louder, I saw plenty of them around me in the first half at West Brom, a total mong fest, totally sickening.goonersid wrote:I think them actually winning it at our place would be worse and something their fans would savour more than the traditional guard of honour.franksav63 wrote:Well, I'm probably in the minority here, but I hope they do win it at our place, to give them a guard of honour would just underline how far we've fallen and will hopefully give us and our club a kick up the arse... Kick up the arse Frank? I doubt it..... Wenger will be beaming as RVP picks up his medal and im sure Andre Santos would get the first flight back to loft RVP on his ample shoulders and parade him around the Grove, while the sheep sing 'one arsene wenger'franksav63 wrote:Well, I'm probably in the minority here, but I hope they do win it at our place, to give them a guard of honour would just underline how far we've fallen and will hopefully give us and our club a kick up the arse... But even if they do win it at the Bowl it will definitely not act as a kick up the arse as long as we finish with the VT and the whole fucking cycle can begin all over again. The 8-2 didn't change anything so why would this?
So as it won't change anything anyway the last thing I want to see is Whisky Nose, Ferdimong, Granny Shagger, RVP et al "winning more titles at the emirates than you have" blah fucking blah

I will be heading over to this one, the very idea of the scum bastard *word censored* winning the title at our place is sickening to the core
If they have it won by then they will get no honour from me , but we can not allow them to do a 'Wiltord' on us!
I will be very vocal in my abuse of SAF, Wenger and that Judas RvP

Re: ManUre being able to win the league at the Grove good
So if United win the next three and City win the next three that will leave United being able to win at our place to win the league? Is that right?
I can't really see City winning the next three with Chelsea, Wigan and Spurs

I agree frank - with every passing day I am hating the champs league more and more and have no wish to qualify for it anymore unless we do so with serious intentions of trying to win the thing. Qualifying just to say that we qualified or qualifying just to make money for the club is a waste of time and money and just feeds the perpetual cycle of a club going nowhere and with no intentions of changing it

That being said, I def dont want manure to win the league at our place - I love the fact that we can gloat about winning their league at their place, at the victims place and of course down at shite hart lane (twice) and I want that remain exclusive to our club. If they win the league the game before they play us and we then have to give them a guard of honour coming out then so be it cos at the end of the day it is the lesser of two evils for me

Chelsea is FA Cup - City's next three games are Wigan and West Ham home and Spurs away. United play Stoke and West Ham away and Villa at home.bang goes the 0-0 draw wrote:So if United win the next three and City win the next three that will leave United being able to win at our place to win the league? If they pick up the same number of points United can win it with a draw at our place.
If United pick up more points in those 3 games than City they'll have already won it.
If City pick up 1 or 2 more points than United over those three games they can with it with a victory at our place.
If City pick up 3+ more points than United over those 3 games then they can't win the league at our place.

Don't want them winning it in our stadium. I don't care about board/management boll*cks just about how we would feel and there is no way we can want a**eholes like Evra/Ferdinand/Rooney parading at our stadium as champions.
