My player of the season has to be Cazorla. Shame that he missed out on Team of the Year. He has been exceptional and only lost form when shift out to the left.

arguably his best game for the club... from the left (floated around a fair bit)
hope he can do a job from there - he defends conscientously,
sometimes I've thought he tracks too much if that's possible - worth gambling the other way sometimes to keep the opponent honest. His balance today was perfect.

At one point I thought he was wasted there and agreed with you - said he has to be played in the hole
be great if he could prove us wrong. Such a versatile player.

Btw I voted for Mertesacker as player of the season cause he's shown up Vermaelen and Koscielny this season. Been the one consistent player in my opinion.

Well said young man, the bed rock of our defence which in the second half of the season is 90% responsible for us being anywhere near 4th let alone favourites for it. But don't worry, the next time his midfield goes totally awol and he makes one of his 2 or 3 misjudgements a season all the people who barely watch us play (or don't pay any attention) will crawl out of the woodwork to laugh and point.

Id like to see Ramsey up there - by far the most improved. Injury has robbed him of the legs to play the "cesc" role he was playing so well before his break.but he has found his niche.

No real stand out player for me. Probably be Cazorla. Might consider spoiling my vote and putting in Arshavin or Santos coz it really has been a season of average performances.

Santi all the way, although Abou was on course for it before he limped off against Chelsea (taking our unbeaten run with him )

the seasons two best Diaby performances (that I remember) were Citeh and Liverpool,
each of those days he played well for only a half
