After the embarrassment at Anfield this is a must win. I thought before the two games that 1 win 1 loss would not be a bad return from the two but I was expecting us to beat Liverpool and lose as usual against United. Time for the players to step up and actually put a performance in, maybe Wenger could watch how Chelsea dismantled United just a few weeks ago.

As for the game, we'll win this. Wenger/Bould/whoever it takes will set the fireworks off to ensure that we come out of the blocks in this one, as the scousers did against us.
Don't know what Gibbs did to get dropped, Monreal has looked well dodgy the last few games and with Mesut AWOL ahead of him our LHS is weak as piss water.
While much of the anti-Wenger stuff on here is illogical and OTT I can't understand how anybody can seek to absolve him of blame.
For a long time many of us have shouted about the madness of playing Santi out wide, especially in away games, yet AW continues to do it and our left back gets hung out to dry.
Plus, who but a moron would think that yesterday was a good time to play a high defensive line, against Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling!!
Additionally, we've played at such a snail's pace for so long that we can only assume that that's how AW wants it. It's as if he thinks pace, strength and effort are dirty concepts.
Any team that ups the tempo and has a go causes us problems. Fortunately many come to the Grove, sit back and let us play tippy-tappy in front of them. He talks a lot about Mental Strength, but I don't know where he sees it, because we really don't seem to have any. Unless we find some quickly Manure will roll us over again.
Agree Rodders. Was watching the game in the pub with non-Arsenal supporting mates and they couldn't understand why Monreal keeps getting the nod. I couldn't offer any reasonable explanation.
