Sadly its the same for me...I don't own a television...I have a PC (large Screen etc) on which I watch Iplayer stuff BBC, 4oD...But the BT Sport thing came free with my phone line & Broadband...and as much as I (genuinely) do detest BT..it's all I have...having been without any means to watch TV/Sports/Anything for almost year, I was looking forward to being able to watch live Arsenal games again...then I discovered that the likes of owen & warnock etc were pundits/co-presenters... they really are unprofessional, poor and not suited to the job in any way shape or form..Owen sounds like a fucking moron in that dull un-inspiring - thick as shyte voice - and warnock needs to go and learn about football before making another comment...besides that they are really both totally unlikeable moronic *word censored*...

As for BT's ad - bring it on - It IS THE Arsenal & Gooners against the rest - F*ck Em - I don't care we are a class above all the others.

I don't really have a problem with the advert, tbh. They clearly wanted to feature a defining match from last season, and given the limited number of games BT Sport actually had the rights to, this was probably the only one worth highlighting.

Sure, I don't really get why they're showing people reacting to it as if they're watching the CL Final, but it doesn't really offend me, either. It's worse, in my opinion, when ads feature fictitious/simulated scorelines that have us losing. At least in this instance, the match actually happened, and we lost it fair and square.

Betfair had that 'Do you, don't you' cashout advert running for years, and that featured the Man Utd 4-4 Everton game when Everton scored two right at the end. Pretty sure that wasn't the media hating Man Utd - just a relevant game for the point they were trying to make.

Seeing Ryan Giggs' SF winner on the Match of the Day opening montage every week in 1999/00 was far more aggravating than this, yet that didn't seem to be perceived as the media hating us.

I got in bt sport last season but that was purely for my eldest son who loved watching the nba the previous season (when it was on espn and we had that free). As it goes, he hardly watched it last season so I absolutely will not be renewing it as I couldn't stand the thought of listening to Michael owen on commentary ever again - to say that he is as dull as dishwater would be offensive to dishwater I am looking forward to the inevitable phone call from bt asking us to take it out again, and I will tell them in no uncertain terms that if I wanted the scouse perspective on matches then I would subscribe to lfc tv

Last season was a timely reminder why everyone hates that toxic bunch of victims. When it came to the crunch I had zero qualms in massively supporting Ashley Cole, Flampard and co against them. And I can't agree more about one of the previous posts about Sturridge - great season last year but he really is an arrogant little fuck. Nothing will give me more pleasure than seeing the club and Sturridge toil away to mid-table obscurity this season, I will enjoy it even more than I enjoyed seeing United's horror show last season.

Yes, some of us are being a bit precious but then football fans are a precious bunch and you'd think BT Sport would know that. They could have made an ad that has the exact same message without focusing entirely on one game. Then they go and get Jar-Jar Binks and Maureen to stick the knife in? Whereas how many people umming and ahhing about renewing their subscription (and I bet there are a fair few given that I've never heard anybody say anything positive about any aspect of their coverage) is that going to piss off?

Pre-season ads aren't really rocket science, just wait for the WC to finish and then piece together some montage of significant goals/moments from big games BT Sport covered last season. Simple but it works and reminds people of the only chip that BT Sport has - having a fair share of the big games instead of being left with the scraps like ESPN and Setanta were.
