I'd like to see an ad showing a constant loop of Stevie fucking Me falling over on his arse the day Liverpool won the league.

I don't understand it, we're the biggest club in London - the capital of England and the premier city of the world - how is it that we don't have any clout/sway in the media?
Where's the London based, pro Arsenal camp?
Do Liverpool/Manchester dominate the news monopoly or something?

The cannibal is gone, they are doing a scum in splashing money on average players and Sanchez told Brenda to do one, he'd rather play for the Arsenal, read this article today from yet another victim journo and had to laugh,

Why didn't Sanchez want us

The funniest thing about this is if you listen to the audio, the podcast host actually went out of his way to call Darren Lewis a "respectable football journalist"...

You can be sure he's not, the fact the host had to try and give Lewis credibility says it all.
Everyone's salty because we got Sanchez, and that's the only thing that matters here: we got Alexis Sanchez.

The channel is a pro Liverpool one with at all the ex players who they employ so we should be flattered that this week has embaressed them so much to pull a stunt like this.
Someone is clearly irate there and it doesnt reflect well, Sky will promote their channel with significant events like Aguerrroooooo while BT continue to act like an after thought and inferior broadcaster.
At the end of the day it happened and we have to suck it up so it is pointless spitting the dummy out over it, it ia history now much like their beloved Liverpool.
It is also a joy to me that so many in the media are upset that Sanchez chose us over them because the lazy journalists are slowly losing their sticks to beat us with...
Trophy drought is over
Wenger is spending money
World class star is signed
The 3 main points of attack are redundant and they fear what 'might' be coming.

Big clubs celebrate trophy's, small clubs celebrate victories over the big clubs.
A quote from below the video. Made me smile.
Fuck off liverpool. Imagine if someone had made an ad showing us beating them.. We'd have endless campaigns and a minutes silence at every fucking game.

Re: Media getting back to hating us (BT Sport Ad)
In the past the media have been incredibly sycophantic towards United because the number of people in the country purporting to support them is massive, and if they weren't Ferguson would just ridicule or isolate them like his pathetic BBC stunt whereby he strong-armed them into not enforcing one of their most valuable contractual rights when it comes to football. But once he was gone and they were in freefall the knives were out as much as I've ever seen for any other team.
With Liverpool it's different though, they never get absolutely hammered in the media wherever they are. Print media, TV and radio are all filled with bitter Liverpool fans and moronic ex-players who have the same Victim complex as the rest of their fans. I'm not suggesting that all the players who have come through the Arsenal are extremely intelligent, but the likes of Keown, Dixon and Smith come across as pretty articulate and very career savvy compared to any of the brainless loud-mouths like Phil Thompson, Steve MacManaman, Jamie Carragher etc who will literally shout over anybody who tries to challenge their views and cover the entire studio in spit. The Suarez/Evra affair was one of the most disgraceful events in PL history in terms of how the club handled themselves but the issue was pussy-footed around by MOTD and much of the media.
With us it suits the media down to the ground for us to be rolling in 4th, as every season they'll have the chance to stick the boot in but also sanctimoniously lecture impatient fans demanding success (as if they weren't slamming Wenger and the X years without a trophy, thank fuck that's over, a few weeks previously) and re-cycle that a few times over the course of a season. With Chelsea and City I don't think they're that fussed because neither club has the same fanbase nationally or globally and although people generally envy/dislike the money the average fan of another club doesn't care so much about either of those two clubs.

What's the difference between a cow and a tragedy.

How many Scousers does it take to change a lightbulb?
They don't, they just talk about how great the old one was.

Agree completely. Wasn't intended as a Liverpool inspired ''They're all out to get us, boo hoo hoo'' thread but even the most objective of people will see the anti-Arsenal sentiment which becomes heightened after winning a trophy and signing a class player.Gunnersaurus wrote:The channel is a pro Liverpool one with at all the ex players who they employ so we should be flattered that this week has embaressed them so much to pull a stunt like this.

They picked a game which ultimately meant nothing to Liverpool as they didn't go on to win the league or obtain any kind of success which makes it all a bit sad.
I've missed the siege mentality we used to have and look forward to it again.
We have Sanchez, Barcelona have Suarez and Liverpool have the BT Sport advert.

An inferior broadcaster favouring an inferior team
Notice how they never showed Gerrard slip, Suarez cry and Arsenal lift the FA Cup but if they want the look small time by highlighting a game that in the end meant nothing and look rather embarrassing then so be it.

No he is not. Although he covers Spurs for the Mirror, I've heard the guy many times over the past few years say he is a Liverpool fan.VAVAVOOM 14 wrote:Pay him no mind, he's actually a Spud which is even worse.topgoon wrote:The cannibal is gone, they are doing a scum in splashing money on average players and Sanchez told Brenda to do one, he'd rather play for the Arsenal, read this article today from yet another victim journo and had to laugh,

As for the ad, can't see what all the fuss is about. It's not as if they made it up and the result didn't happen. I think some gooners should stop be so sensitive. There are and have been more genuine examples showing the majority of the media's hate and unfair treatment of our club without the need to act so precious over what is after all just an advert. Don't like it? Don't subscribe!! Although again there are plenty of other and proper reasons not to - namely their piss poor co-commentators and analysts.
