Don't mind the European Cup being bloated as long as it's done in an exciting way. Start the main competition in February, with the 32 teams, two-legged ties until the final, no seeding. Stop this group bollocks.

The excitement of the CL, in which you only have to finish in the top 4 to qualify, and when your in the competition you only have to be better than Zagreb and Olympiakos to ensure a top two finish and a last 16 thrashing from The likes of Madrid or Barca. Th sickening irony of this competition for Arsenal is that when the interest actually comes into it , in terms of knockout football, then the Arsenal go out of it. I would love Arsenal to win it and be Champions of Europe , but would prefer to do so as (A) being Champions of England and (B) beating Champions of other countries along the way.
