Champions League

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Fuck I would do anything to have him here.

I have the KY to make sure of it.
I'd kill (WENGERCUNT) to make it happen.

Joke mods, joke.

Simeone is THE answer to our problems, well him and getting rid of the board et Al.

Are you back in chilly England yet Top Londoner?

Yep, missus. It's bleeding cold too.
How's it going ironing DB10's boxer shorts????

Glad to see the Barcawhores getting stuffed.

I'm off back to Perth soon. I got married whilst away there, so there's more to life than Arsene FC

Heh.
I kinda knew I was getting married when I was offered a ring.
A gold band, in fact, and not the kinda ring DB10 gets offered in Dublin on a 'boys' night out.

Would be absolutely fantastic to see Atletico win the CL and Leicester win the PL.......except for the fact that TO1AW will use that as further evidence that money isn't always the answer and will keep the war chest under its usual Summer lock and key

Yes, money isn't always the answer and thank fuck for that. But building up a team with spirit and discipline sure as hell is (while tactical know-how is a plus too).

If that happened and if Liverbore won the Europa and we finished 3rd, would be still miss out on the CL?

no I think if Liverpool win the Europa League then there will be 5 PL teams in the CL next season

I also dont think there is a chance that City will now finish outside the top 4, now they have De Bruyne back for them

If Wenger were manager of either side how well do you think they'd be doing? :rubchin:

Leicester would be winning the Relegation Avoidance Trophy and Atletico would be threatening to break our stranglehold on the Last 16 Trophy !

And that is the truth, both those clubs would be flat lining under the stewardship of the manager of the decade

Achieving 'par' as some would say. Of course, Atletico would also not be 3 points behind Barca in La Liga and continuing to break the duopoly....instead they would be scrapping it out with Celta Vigo and Villareal for "El Trofeo Virtual", and embarking on a late run swatting aside Eibar, Rayo Vallecano and Las Palmas

Do you think the boards of Atletico, and those glory hunting, mighty Midlanders, Leicester City, would except 10-12 years of the same self-styled 'success' every year under Le Fraud, or would the fans be demanding a change perhaps?

I wonder if the media would be telling them to be careful what they wished for?? :rubchin:

I know it's not Champions League, but loving that "famous Anfield atmosphere" right now

0-2 Dortmund

Best thing that could've happened to shut up this moronic media obsession with the Scousers supposedly being better supporters than other clubs. Fucking silence.

Why is it when I watch other teams play it seems to be more exciting. Oh, I know why, They don't pass sideways and backwards. Just watched 5 min of this Pool/Dortmund match and the ball is being passed with players running on to it and going forward at speed, at speed I tell you. It's much more exciting!

Dortmund are playing some absolutely fantastic football. Short sharp passing played at pace and not giving the Mickeys an inch. A bit like how we played 1998-2004 before Wenger turned us into the tip tap bottle jobs that we've been for a decade
