Why did Fabregas even travel?
I haven't read through this thread, so not sure if it's been discussed, but with RVP and Arshavin left at home, why not rest Fabregas too? If this was a game so unimportant that we could play a weakened side, why risk our captain if he's not 100% fit?
And my other major problem with this game...why wasn't Denilson goal side of the man he was "marking" for the first goal? Basic, basic error. As a defender, and I'm certainly no more than an amateur, alarm bells are ringing as soon as the attacker is that side of you (especially if you're as slow as I am!

) unless there is communication amongst the backline that there's an offside trap.
So:
1. Why was Denilson even there, and what was he doing?
2. Where were Squillaci and Djourou?
3. Were our defenders not even talking to each other?
So, so frustrating.
