So basically we needed a central defender in transfer market and just stood still again now all these matches piling up I am lost for words :cussing:
I think you'll find you actually managed to find 26,so you weren't as lost as you think.

Anyway what's with all the pessimism, anyone would think we've just lost to some one man team full of average players.......Oh......anyway

Think it'll be a tight one 1-1 or 0-0. Neither team will want to lose. A not everyone's happy draw for this one. They are sh*t but we are low in numbers and quite clearly knackered all over the pitch. Shame about Theo, he usually does ok against them. Boy do we miss his pace. I never realised just how slow we are without him.

Told you.

We always do this after a bad defeat. We will limp along for a couple of games before we wake up once again in about a month's time when the time when all that's left is a straight shootout for 3rd/VT with the victims, vermin and you would like to say manure but after what I saw today from them , they are f**king awful.

Everything we tried was down the middle to Giroud to hold and lay off but it was all so predictable Utd read it time after time.

Why not Gnabry on to run at them in the last 10 mins v tired legs ?

the deriliction of duty over a striker is the elephant in the room, everyone knows it. even the manager as why the embarrasing scrambles for ba, kalou, klose on loan at the fag end of each window.

any right thinking board would have gone over his head or kicked him out for this single issue

we just can't compete you see - the highest ticket prices, 2nd largest stadium, 4th highest paid manager and 100 million in the bank, are no match for the likes of Fulham, west Brom and stoke .

Awful performance against a truly pathetic team. Though I'm not happy if we can win our next 3 league games then at least we'll be back in it. We have to beat Liverpool on Sunday, FA Cup is the most realistic chance of silverware we have this season.

Giroud was worse than ever tonight - missed chances, the only runs he made were brainless, his hold-/link-up play was abysmal and in the last 10 minutes he stopped putting the effort in.

Wilshere was also awful - spent most of the game asleep and it was inevitable that his dallying was going to put us in trouble. Thank God for a worldie of a save from Szczesny.

So why did they both play 90 minutes? If the time wasn't right for Podolski to come on tonight what the fuck is he doing at the club still?

Could easily have lost as MU had the two best chances - just can't believe a free-kick with a minute to go, in a match where 3 points is vital, gets knocked sideways, Why if Giroud is so good in the air (though not in front of goal obviously) do we not just hoof long balls in to him hoping for a lucky break? At least that would be a bit more exciting, because watching Arsenal tippy-tap around midfield and defence has started to get boring.

to be fair to giroud, and i think hes no more than avergae, hes probably knackered.

jack clearly is. again baffling decisions by the manager.

pod must have run over AW's dog or something, yet more denials in the standard tonight that he was never leaving in jan.

he will be off in the summer no doubt

That is unfortunately the case. Why do you think he smirks and smiles after getting our manhood taken by the bindippers? He is the teflon don over there and he knows it.

On a side note, Podolski should hand his transfer request in at the end of this season. What's the point of him staying here just to sit on the bench? He questioned our dear leader a while ago and has been sidelined ever since.

Liverpool look a real threat now. And check out their goal diff as well. Third looks on the cards given the teams abounds us, maybe fourth. Only bright side is, tonight was the day Man Utd officially lost their place in Europe! 11 points...

Exactly.

It's ridiculous that he didn't come on.

We play a slow, tedious game with no width and attempt to play everything to feet between all midfielders and Giroud within the width of the penalty box, scared witless to dare try a shot of anything new.

Wenger, why sit there for 90 minutes watching your team do the same thing over and over and over and over again? Why not bring Podolski on? why not try something new? - mix it up a bit; play with some width? play with 2 strikers?

Come on man, you have to try SOMETHING?! :cussing:

That was pathetic management: No courage. No ambition. No clue.

Coward.

Why are people surprised that Giroud is fading? Look at how he ended last season, Fulham away springs to mind. He was doing his best possible impression of Adebayor 08-09.

But still, Inspector Clueless has the best striker of a ball at the club as an unused sub on the bench tonight. Backed up by some Ligue 2 perma-crock from Royal Mail and a Danish dude so shit that literally no other team in the world will buy him off us.

A manager who is finished in modern football, had absolutely no idea what to do tonight. Couldn't motivate, couldn't inspire, couldn't change things when we're looking to reclaim top spot against the worst Utd team in two decades. He reminds me of that doddery old geezer who's gone into the supermarket and then forgotten what he came in for.

Spurs & Liverpool have both gained 5pts on us since Saturday lunchtime. City and Everton now both have games in hand, the race for 4th is well and truly on. Now where's that new contract & 3% price hike?
