I don’t care about the Champions league as I don’t want us to qualify. The longer we carry on reaching the final stages and finishing 4th the more the board and wenger have hot tub nights with denilson and the rest of the kids.
I hate everything about Wenger I don’t remember what he did for us, just what he is doing to us. This is our team and there is no place for sentiment when it comes to Arsenal football club.

I laughed too when they got the second.

I really couldn't help it. it just happened!

As far as I'm concerned this poor run goes back at least 7 games (and I'm deliberately excluding the Carling Cup win at Newcastle):

30/10 West Ham United HOME 1 0 - Struggled to last minute win over the team at the bottom of the table
03/11 Shakhtar Donetsk AWAY 1 2 - Similar to Braga. Managed to lose a game we had easily under control
07/11 Newcastle United HOME 0 1 - Crap!
10/11 Wolverhampton W AWAY 2 0 - Played poorly and won a game we should have lost purely because of brilliant goalkeeping performance
14/11 Everton AWAY 2 1 - Ditto
20/11 Spurs HOME 2 3 - Blew a two goal lead against a poor team who didn't even have to play well to win
23/11 Braga AWAY 0 2 - Managed to lose a game where we had over 60% possession

After each one of these they trot out the same old comments. "We'll learn from this". "this is a wake up call" etc etc.

I'm more p*ss*d off with last night than I even was after Saturday!

Only upside is that Barca, Real and Bayern would be even more gutted to get Arsenal in first knock out round than we would the other way around.....

Yes they'll be quaking in their boots. NOT.
Mourinho would rubbing his hands
Barca Whores would relish showing Cesc what he is missing out on.
And the Germans will fear nobody.

Don't you believe it. I know we're massively inconsistent (or consistently poor over last few weeks!) but we're also capable of beating anyone on our day. I honestly don't think anyone would choose to play us in the next round.....

I think they would at the moment because we are a sinking ship. When was the last time we beat a big team? If we finish 2nd in our group and get a big team, we are out; it is that simple.

It will be embarrassing if we get Barca or Real in the next round, particularly Real. Seriously, I could see us conceding 7 or 8 goals over the two legs easily.

We'll see..... Our record against the top sides in Europe has never been in question. With the exception of Barca last season it's generally been other English sides that have knocked us out. I'd honestly fancy us against Barca, Real or Bayern..... :barscarf: !

No. I said that we had an excellent record.....with the exception of Barca and the other English teams. Other than those PSV are the only European team to have knocked us out since losing to Barca in the final in 2006. And in that time we've beaten the like of AC Milan, Real Madrid, Juventus, Inter amongst others.....

And I still recall being in the Nou Camp last season when we took the lead to go ahead on aggregate - and then missed a chance to go two up. And that was with a virtual reserve team through injuries!!
