""Sir Keir Starmer said: "I think, from what I've determined, about half the country were probably queuing for tickets over the weekend, but it is depressing to hear of price hikes.

"I'm committed to putting fans at the heart of music and ending extortionate price resales, and we're starting a consultation to work out how best we can do this."

Classic rat politician statement, we're not going to do anything, but we will certainly pretend we're going to find out what we could do, and then not do it.

Although George Carlin sums it up so well i'll just quote him instead

"“Now, there's one thing you might have noticed I don't complain about: politicians. Everybody complains about politicians. Everybody says they suck. Well, where do people think these politicians come from? They don't fall out of the sky. They don't pass through a membrane from another reality. They come from American parents and American families, American homes, American schools, American churches, American businesses and American universities, and they are elected by American citizens. This is the best we can do folks. This is what we have to offer. It's what our system produces: Garbage in, garbage out. If you have selfish, ignorant citizens, you're going to get selfish, ignorant leaders. Term limits ain't going to do any good; you're just going to end up with a brand new bunch of selfish, ignorant Americans. So, maybe, maybe, maybe, it's not the politicians who suck. Maybe something else sucks around here... like, the public. Yeah, the public sucks. There's a nice campaign slogan for somebody: 'The Public Sucks. F*ck Hope.” "
thats his answer to everything...set up a consultation...spend a load of money take 2 to 5 years and at the end of it no result

Why is serial adulterer Kyle Walker getting so much airtime on BBC Sport with his podcast?

Also I hope this comment is looked into further by the PL
Speaking on the latest episode of You’ll Never Beat Kyle Walker, the 34-year-old said of midfielder Bernardo Silva, “he'll have a little kick out at you when the ref's not looking.”

Players like rodri (citeeh) and alisson (victims) are coming out fighting about the extra demands being put on footballers and rumours are flying around that the players might go on strike (will never happen) to fight against the extra games players are being asked to play - just a quick memo to the players, its called quid pro quo  These greedy b*stards think they should be paid a kings ransom every week to kick around a lump of air twice a week ??? If you want to go back to the amount of games players played in years gone by then I'm sure you will all be happy to go back to the wages from that era too ?? No ?? Then fcuk off. I get the argument that clubs are absolutely cashing in and making fortunes off the back of these players and that the players are entitled to get their fair slice of that financial pie, but these high profile games are what is bringing in all the tv money to fattens their wages, so they should be told that yes we can play less games if you accept less wages, or else accept the fact that these games are what allows your lazy chav wives prance around in designer clothes and live the high life   :censored: :censored:

Keir Starmer has been gifted use of a hospitality box by Arsenal football club. It will add many many thousands of pounds to the gifts he will have to disclose this year

I think it’s great that the current Prime Minister is an Arsenal supporter.
It is only right that he should have a hospitality box for matches.

I have no problem with Starmer or any politician having a box at the Emirates

, Providing that they pay for it .
