I was watching him last night and seriously, i would not swap him for Denilson - he was appalling!
anderson was a hero for my local team, grêmio, and his performances were nothing short of spectacular down here. he was a left winger, in the mould of vela, actually pretty similar to vela. could dribble anyone, chipped keepers, brilliant player. was the scorer in the famous 'batalha dos aflitos', a hero, 18yo. every single person in the country thought he was going to be the next great thing.

however, i don't know exactly why, ferguscum thought he should thoughen him up and make him a central midfielder. a kid who never knew how to mark, had bad workrate and played his entire time as a winger... i don't know what would have become of him if he stood as a winger, but the truth is that he is pretty average nowadays... he was called to national squad a couple of times, played terribly, and is probably not going to be called for the WC, like lucas.

it happens, lucas is an example from the same team, there's also that portuguese kid quaresma... you think they'll be the next big thing and then...

With our injury record, he wouldn't last five minutes before being hurt. We also have plenty of strikers though I'll admit, with Eduardo out of sorts, we lack a poacher like RVN was and maybe still is when fit

you think they'll be the next big thing and then... they turn into a 23 year old brainless pole like Diaby, or a fat pudding like Toure. Yep, we've had our fair share of disappointments, too!

Still, I thought Anderson looked amazing at Porto, and I thought he looked like he had the talent to be the next Ronaldinho. Can't believe he's now a defensive player who rarely scores or creates goals :?

i'd really like to know why in ferguscum mind anderson is a defensive midfielder.
he has amazing technique.

RVN is still a very good scorer I think. He could add to any team he joins, as a substitute Striker.

But at Arsenal? No way jose! The red and white shirt is too big for him.

He's a good player.

But not the type we need.

And a class A, unfiltered, pure strength, 100% proof, WANKER!
