CARLING CUP AT THE SWAMP

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

This is going to be my first visit to the Lane since 1983 and I am going to enjoy it. I don't care what team Wenger plays and I don't care what the score is (although I'd prefer a win with a few goals to go mental over).

I'm going to sing as much as I can and remind those deluded c**ts how pathetic they are.

"61 and never again"
"you won the league in black and white"
"we won the league, at White Hart Lane (twice)"

I'm even giong to wear my red and white scarf, something I never did in the eighties.

FOYS

ps: I think it was an evening League Cup game back in '83 and we won 2-1 I think. Mental. Loads of gooners in the Shelf. Rucks everywhere.

Seems Gallas has went under the radar the slimey *word censored*.....

Hope we get a song going for that prick, at least before the home game anyway.

Can't see us doing anything in this one, means more to them to get "one over" us than to us and the team will probably reflect that, although I expect a few first teamers that need games to get a start.

Squillaci to partner Djourou, Eboue to start, Chamakh has been quite vocal on featuring so probably start ahead of JET, and probably Denilson as he's recently back from injury. But thinking 3-1 them, DVD's produced left, right and centre and celebrations not seen since Spain won the world cup....

*update* Just seen via a journo on Twitter that the scum are putting out a "weakened" side. How weak remains to be seen.

Just been at Sp**s - they will field weakened side but those at the club still really want to put one over Arsenal. Even in Carling Cup

ACHTUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have no doubt Mr Melted Cheese Head will put out as strong a side as possible for this while Mr Knows will chuck in the kids.

Still, I can see our young lads giving them a good game and hopefully the atmosphere will be electric.

The Heebs will no doubt be bashing up lone Gonners and when retarded knuckle dragger smashes a mirror in a pub toilet in Stoke Newington they will claim they run Arsenal all over North London!

Whatever the competition, I cannot stand losing to these deluded *word censored* and I pray we do not give them cause to bring out some random celebratory kit.

Ladies and gents, think Rocky Rocastle, think Wing Commander Ian Allinson, think Brady 'look at that-look at that, think Adams at the back stick, think Kennedy rising high, think Thierry all the way from his own half and the look on the **** faces as he slides on his knees to celebrate in front of them!

To be fair it was double-post worthy! :barscarf: 8)

Whether Wenger picks an all-out kids line-up or a mix & match more than anything he needs to make sure every single one of the fuckers knows exactly what this game means & is actually up for it. If he’d stuck with the team from the previous rounds in the semi a few years ago I honestly don’t think we’d have got turned over like we did. The problem was throwing in a few first-teamers here & there meant half the side was made up of players who felt like they had bigger fish to fry (league/CL) & gave a half-arsed performance. Typical Wenger indecisive half-measure. It also broke up any kind of fluency/understanding the CC side had built up. For that reason I wouldn’t be mad if it was Afobe/Aneke/JET etc. And Wilshire has to play, can imagine he’d be well up for the battle.
