Commentator - Vermalen will be "like a new signing". :banghead: :banghead:

Greentown surprisingly handy. Defence unsurprisingly shit.

Have we reacted well mentally to going behind?

So far this game tells us nothing we didn't already know. Traore wont be good enough to replace Clichy at LB, Squillaci is shit, we still need a dominating experienced keeper, the midfield needs a bit more steel added and Rosicky is unfortunately past it.

Lessons learned from last season? Zero. :banghead:

It's frustrating to see that, when a team puts 10 men behind the ball, we still haven't got a clue how to break them down once our one-twos outside the area don't work.

Bring on Bendtner :barscarf:

"Arsenal beginning to take control of the match" - Stewart Robson.

Well its only been half an hour afterall, can't expect too much against a team who are eighth in their league can we.

They're seeing some vintage arsenal so far today

Seriously, they could be about 5 up

That 6.5% looking well justified based on this evidence!

I really wish Wenger would use these matches to try something new. And by 'something new' I don't mean playing Vela at centre forward, or playing Rosicky in central midfield - I mean like a different formation. The way Greentown are set up, it's actually decent preparation for the majority of teams we're going to be up against this season. But, we're sticking to the same old tactics and it's not working. It seems as though, offensively and defensively, nothing has been learned since last season.
