As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
be fair , these people are supporters who might never get the chance to see the team again. not everyones cup of tea i will admit but reason enough for the club to go out there and spread the arsenal name. and yes i do know the tour is about money but i also think the goodwill from the team to all these supporters is a good thing.
I think this tour has done a world of good for the squad. It's something different and they are going to places where people are happy to see them. Might make them realise just how big a club Arsenal actually is.

Word is that the players are going to have their names written on the back of their shirts in Mandarin.
I don't mind the club touring like this*. Clubs have been doing it for years. Remember, one of the main gripes of the BSM was that the club wasn't taking proper advantage of all the marketing opportunities at their disposal.
*As long as some of the money we're making off of this is reinvested in the playing staff, obviously.

My exact thoughts!
I have no problems with that concept lads but in all honesty I think ye might be expecting too much from our players there. These are players that play in front of 60,042 fans every single week and were consistantly winning trophies up until 6 years ago so if they dont recognise the size and stature of our club by now then they never will
Arsenal team today (4-3-3): mannone; sagna, squillaci, djourou, traore; rosicky, frimpong, nasri: vela, van persie, arshavin
Interesting, Nasri being given the Fabregas/Ramsey role today, Rosicky pretending to be wilshire Frimpong gets a chance to show his worth. Be good to see Vela from the start aswell
