Cesc says...

I have just watched Cesc Fabregas make history for Barca by becoming their first player to score four consecutive opening games in La Liga.

I am still waiting to hear from all of those people who claimed

'Cesc will be a sub and warm the bench at Barca'.

Probably the same people telling us that our deadline day signings were quality :-P

Did Hill-Wood not also claim Cesc would never get in that team?

Hmmmm...... [/i]

been watching the match, he's was playing average/poor till his goal :D

commentary said he's the first barca player to ever score 4 goals in his first 4 games

Valencia have been excellent. Very enjoyable game

Seems to me Cesc has been held back by Wenger looks like he is a completly different player with the Spanish cheats .

If Fergie was in charge of our squad over the last few years, we would have been Champions every season. FACT.

I think one of the things that has become apparent is that Cesc IS indeed a top class player and CAN cut it with the Whores. Alot of us thought that anyway. But he is now actually doing it.

I also refer to a very relevant post by IU4GN yesterday where he stated that Wenger had bred any individual flair out of our players and replaced it with an obedience to the robotic tippy tappy "football" bollocks we play, with no room for individual moments of brilliance.

Now Cesc is playing in a team that also incorporates a very strict playing style but also allows it's players to truly express themselves and show individual brilliance. Cesc will thrive with them.

Isn't Iniesta injured? Still these performances will certainly mean he will compete for his place in the starting XI

wouldnt say he is a very different player at barca, but they all play on his level, his mental wavelength especially messi.

Privilege to see him play in the red of arsenal for years.

Wenger was right to try to build a team around him, pity that the timing was when we were in decline, and football was transforming.
