Harry Knows
At this moment in time I would swap 'Arry for Wenger.
Of course historically Wenger pisses all over him but that's living in the past! 'Arry has slowly been building a very decent squad, second only to Citeh in quality and you have to say in the near future, he is the one most likely to get success. Wenger will NOT win another trophy with Arsenal, he has lost it BIG time.

Spurs have a very real chance of winning the league, but ho ho ho wasn't it funny to see Utd lose at Newcastle along the way.
Fuck me. I said at the time anyone enjoying seeing Utd lose was a plank. These were the same people who wanted Chelsea to beat City so they wouldn't go unbeaten, despite the fact that a City win would see us back in the top four.
Has the penny dropped with you lot yet?! Wake the fuck up!

Redknapp probably does have the edge on Wenger right now.
But I would not want him at Arsenal, I just do not see him as the man to take us forward to the title.
We need someone with vision for the club as a whole, because the fan-player-club relationship is damaged, and the whole philosophy of the club needs more focus on winning.
For me, I want Guardiola or Ancellotti.

The saddest part of your tirade is that we are relying on other teams to place us in the top 4.Dan_85 wrote:Spurs have a very real chance of winning the league, but ho ho ho wasn't it funny to see Utd lose at Newcastle along the way.![]()

Unbelievable. I can't believe I am on an Arsenal forum seeing people creaming themselves over a twitchy faced twat like Redknapp.
It's 1 season, in his whole tenure... 1 fucking season where Spurs look better than Arsenal. Yes it's annoying as hell, but there really does need to be some perspective.
I know I will get hammered here, but genuine question for our Resident Spurs fan Babatunde. Can you name the starting Spurs XI, if they are missing two right backs, two centre backs, two left backs and their best midfielder (let's say hmmm Modric).
(Also name who your injured players would be and of those, whose shirts do you own

This is the only bit I agree with off all the pro-twitchy shit.clockender1 wrote:actually i like 'arry, i think he's the best english manager atm. and i was gutted when he went to scum.
he was always very complimentary about us at Pompey and West Ham. I can remember him gushing about TH14 and Dennis a few times.
I just think that the scum have been throwing money at it for years and have finally got lucky with Bale and RVDV - two world class players.
both who will be off if they collapse and fail to make the CL this year.
VdV he knew nowt about, Greedy was a gift that I think City will come to regret and good old arry actually came close to putting Bale on the transfer list. The only thing I will give him credit for is Parker.

We would not have lost to the mousers, the scum and Blackburn if we'd bought him.

But I'm pretty sure they'll make Champs league and don't bet against them for the league, without Silva/Toure/Company Shitty looked awful tonight. I'm sure we'd all love them to collapse but they won't.
It's not twitchy it's the others there Jordan,Bond,Lesbian Ferdinand, a whole team constantly geeing the players up whilst AW tries to do everything by himself with PR just as a yes man.

That would put us right behind shitty

Thing is everyone knew VdV was available from Madrid at a low price. If I remember rightly, a couple of weeks before hand RVP was raving about him being a quality player.
Wenger could have snapped him up but instead decided it wasn't worth the risk. There's absolutely no doubt he would have chosen us over the scum at the time.
We missed the boat... again

Sometimes you rely on luck and a leg-up from other teams, whatever position you're in the league you will have gained from other people's misfortune by other teams taking points off each other so I don't think it's exactly a bad thing.frankbutcher wrote:The saddest part of your tirade is that we are relying on other teams to place us in the top 4.Dan_85 wrote:Spurs have a very real chance of winning the league, but ho ho ho wasn't it funny to see Utd lose at Newcastle along the way.![]()

Anyway have you looked at our team lately...it's shit. It's a mid-table team with a top class goalie and striker.
The other players are ok nothing more. Top 5 with that team is the best we can hope for. If the mousers or Chavs lose out to us for 4th then they truly are f***ed

So you're backing me up then?? Wenger has built a squad of shit. A squad of shit that earns c. £30m more than a side 9 points ahead of us in the table. Wenger earns £7m per year for assembling this squad of shite. Next year RVP is off. Someday Wilshere, Ches, Ramsey et al will flee the Titanic. Wenger will sink with his ship.topgoon wrote:Sometimes you rely on luck and a leg-up from other teams, whatever position you're in the league you will have gained from other people's misfortune by other teams taking points off each other so I don't think it's exactly a bad thing.frankbutcher wrote:The saddest part of your tirade is that we are relying on other teams to place us in the top 4.Dan_85 wrote:Spurs have a very real chance of winning the league, but ho ho ho wasn't it funny to see Utd lose at Newcastle along the way.![]()

Spot on. How we have turned into one of the most boring one dimensional teams in the league is an outrage. We are Arsenal not fucking Aston Villa!topgoon wrote:Sometimes you rely on luck and a leg-up from other teams, whatever position you're in the league you will have gained from other people's misfortune by other teams taking points off each other so I don't think it's exactly a bad thing.frankbutcher wrote:The saddest part of your tirade is that we are relying on other teams to place us in the top 4.Dan_85 wrote:Spurs have a very real chance of winning the league, but ho ho ho wasn't it funny to see Utd lose at Newcastle along the way.![]()

It's not Redknobb. It's the team behind him. Something Aw no longer has .
Anyway Jol was more successful than Redknobb but got done by dodgy lasagne. The only reason we are creaming over twitchy's cos he's English and they're winning the Tottenham way.
Twitchy has done better than AW since Jan 2011 but he will only be the better manager when he wins the league and not before.
I am not a AW luvvie but until twitchy wins more than the Fleet St popular vote then I'm not going to get carried away just yet.
I have to admit though that this thread reminds me of the stuff I used to read on Scum sites a few years ago and we all thought they were small time and yet now we fill our forum with threads about scum players/managers/games/...be their groundsmen next

We cannot, absolutely cannot, use that as an excuse for where we are right now.richpye wrote:Unbelievable. I can't believe I am on an Arsenal forum seeing people creaming themselves over a twitchy faced twat like Redknapp.

It happens too often over the last few seasons to be just bad luck.
It's what brought Sol Campbell back, it's what brought Jens Lehmann back. There is something wrong with either the way we train, the players we buy, the medical staff.
Possibly all of the above.
