I'd imagine at this stage that hammering Vorderman's baggy dried out old growler would resemble putting your schlonger in a box of corn flakes. :? :(

Number two on my bucket list would be to see the night sky when totally free of light pollution.

Which would mean being in the middle of a desert, or at the top of a mountain.

I reckon I can probably achieve this before I pop my clogs.

Number one on my bucket list is not even remotely achievable. There is no way I will get Kylie Minogue and Carol Vordeman in bed. At the same time.

OG, I've seen that sky in the western US. Somewhere like Yosemite, or Yellowstone. Unbelievable, and then I remembered when I'd seen it before. When I was a kid!

Have seen this in the middle of the desert in Nevada and Utah, it's insane. Just wish I'd had the camera/knowledge to have been able to get some decent pics of it...

Was exactly the same in the Northern Mountains of Mexico - went there some years ago and did a 2 weeks trek through the wilder parts of the mountains...no street lighting/factories etc anywhere...it really was as if you couold reach out and touch the stars, there was a Full Moon while we were there and it was F*ckin' MASSIVE!...truly amazing..I want to go and see The Northern Lights ..that's deffo on my bucket list.

Try Black Down instead, not far from you in Sussex? Been there myself and the sky is stunning, even spotted the ISS flying overhead without any optical aids.

Just back from Oz. Did the Great Barrier Reef on Monday, sublime, and saw completely clear skies in the Whitsunday Islands. Glorious.

Is "cradboard" some type of new material you Ewoks have developed? :rubchin:
