Manure game tube strike.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Buses will not be able to take the strain in a tube strike. Loads more punters and worse traffic because more will drive.

Walking to Wembley to watch England play Andorra.......that's the sort of 'superfan' dedication that would make my old mate JD blush

Is RMT only one union the London Underground workers use, if it is then surely there will be a partial service

Most station staff are RMT.
Most managers are TSSA so they may well man the stations.
Most drivers are ASLEF, but they often go on strike in support of RMT strikes.

Whether the club will chance it going ahead with the game in a reduced service tube during evening rush hour I am not at all sure.

Was looking at the rest of the fixtures and there isn't many free dates available especially if us and utd get into the next round of CL and us in the latter rounds of the FA Cup

March 4th, between Stoke Away and Swansea Home/FA Cup QF is one option that comes to mind. This would likely only be the case if United go out to Sunlun in the Rumbelows Cup.

Think it was always going to. Will be a hassle if the strike goes ahead but neither club wants the match postponed, it's certainly feasible for everyone to make the necessary alternative arrangements with so much notice and there's no prospect for liability for injury etc like with adverse weather conditions.

It will be an unmitigated disaster unless they get enough tube guys to scab. Most reliable form of transport that night will be shanks's pony.

I do not have figures available, though the club do, but I reckon minimum 70% of fans get the tube to games.

Please please please be on! :o

Going to this with my old man and we have trains and hotel all booked, and match tickets obviously.

Will be massively gutted if this gets postponed as there's a good chance I won't make the rescheduled date due to work etc. :banghead:
