Fully agree Rodders, Gibbs is better than Monreal, offensively and defensively too.
Expecting Ozil, to offer cover is just laughable right now.
Gibbs with Podolski offers a lot more strength and guile in my opinion.
The question re Wednesday night is what will happen if podolski, gibbs and rosicky are left on the bench again ? I am fully expecting rosicky to start and I think gibbs will start but I have my doubts that podolski will start - what kind of message would it send to the guy if he couldn't get a start after yesterdays debacle ? I would even go so far as to say that it would not surprise me one jot if the worlds greatest Danish striker starts up front instead of giroud
Can see United just sitting back and trying to pick us off on the counter and us setting up to just not try to concede as we did at Old Trafford. Will most likely result in a boring game, but if they score early I can see another demolition happening.
After this weekend the game will depend on psychology. Which team can pick themselves the quickest. Strangely I think it will be us. United must be thinking that they are cursed atm.

Arteta better not take a part in this one. He's declined rapidly this season. Can't even turn these days, has gotten even slower, and he's weak and small, and playing as our DM. Flamini couldn't return sooner. Get rid of Arteta in the summer, buy a proper DM, size and muscle.
We missed a trick with Matic who has improved the chavs midfield ten fold.
