ive always thought Flappy was decent enough keeper,im pleased hes shown that in the cup run,its easy to slate a player that you only have fleeting glimpses of especially a keeper,we all thought Mannone was dire but look at him now,hes a shinnig light in a dog turd sandwaich of a season for sunderland,that goes to show what a decent run does for your confidence,the other thing is show me a club that has two world class keepers,no world class keeper plays back up,Flappy is a good choice and should be given a longer run in the team to give Sir Chez some competition,fuck knows he needs it,that stupiud fucking grin he does,even more annoying is that he does it when he lets a goal in
Hmmm, he's been decent enough in the cup run but his flap against liverpool could and should have made it 2-2.
On Saturday he went walkies on one occasion and was lucky we had covering defenders and then guessed right and saved 2 penalties which were poorly taken.
Not knocking the bloke because he has done ok generally but even Almunia could save penalties.
Why don't we go the whole hog, as well as playing a player who is fucking off soon why not make him captain for the day also.... Although it wouldn't surprise me if Wenger did!
