Giroud Out - Four Months and counting...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Some reckon Alexis Sanchez will be a world class striker, so here's his chance. I've not seen enough of the lad to know tbh.

I sincerely hope 1989 and co are correct, otherwise it'll be a long painful season if we don't sign someone decent (please please please not Welbeck  )

We've loaned out a free scoring youngster out to MK Dons but maybe Akpom could be drafted in however I fear "IT'S TIME TO GET YOUR YA YA'S OUT BABY !"

Amy's article was spot on ,she maybe a munter but I agree she writes very well !

Come on you Gunners !

PS has anyone seen Gnarnaby or Akpom recently ?

you know what is the saddest thing about the injuries to Giroud, Sanogo and Arteta - none of them should be anywhere near the first team at Arsenal in the first place!!

Gnabry is injured (Still)

I saw Akpom play a few weeks ago- he is strong but I didnt think hes quite ready yet, but TBH I would rate him as better than Sanogo now

This is like Walcotts early Jans injury all over again again, NOTHING was done at the time. AKBs now look back and sigh as the injury was after the window closed (allegedly   )

though it really was a lack of a DM and Rambos injury that cost us last season. This is obviouisly different, Giroud is key to out play at the moment.

FFS please someone anyone is better than what we have at the moment up front with Giroud out :cussing: :cussing:

There's no accounting for individual taste but I'd say she's anything but a munter. Indeed, in my opinion she is that rarity of beings: a good looking red head. 8)

Having kept an eye on his progress for the last couple of seasons I like the look of Akpom, although I agree that he is probably not quite ready to step into the first team regularly for a club allegedly challenging for the title & CL. However, had he been given the same opportunity last season and this, I don't believe he would have done any worse than Sanogo. Mind you, given that 'postie' has failed to find the back of the net in any first class match, I'd have to to say that could equally apply to the likes of me and you!!

Mods please change title to "4 months and counting" we won't see Giroud until April at the earliest.
What's ridiculous is that the loo of such a second rate player is actually a massive blow, because his only recognised replacements are fucking third and fifth fucking rate.

Done and done. Was thinking of changing it to 1 year and counting but thought fuck that, it's too close to the (probable) truth!

Not fussed about his injury just gutted that he won't be replaced, same as with Arteta.

Don't think we should have to accept them as players because he won't improve on them.
