No and the club have never not continued to buy for the future.

Imagine the shit storm if having needed a DM Wenger went out and bought a kid from some Polish youth team and threw him into PL football, Coquelin fell out of the sky and that was the senior DM sorted.

The club have always tried to pick up young players along with senior players and the fact that he's training with the first team means nothing as loads of kids do to gain experience.

He's a Carling Cup player at best next year.
