Could have been a lot worse..... Can see us winning this and going on - Not easily (well we do not do easy let's be honest!) But definitely in with a very good chance.
Would be great to retain the cup - especially as wenger is going nowhere till 2017 - Our only realistic chance of a trophy - so PLEASE do not fuck it up.

It's a 5th round tie. We're at home to a Championship club. Let's not get carried away with how good they are. If we play at 60% we'll beat them.

Hope this is a Monday night game so we don't get 9,000 northerners descending on the bowl

Championship club means I guess it'll be Category C. Might actually go if so!

I wouldnt mind a Friday night kick off for this to be honest - I went to the Coventry game on the Friday night last year and it made for a good end to the week.

also there will be the bonus (if we win) of sitting back and watching Liverpool and United struggle over the weekend.

Surely you mean Bolton and Cambridge.

when do they decide when it is? I'm hoping saturday 3pm.

As Boro beat City, we'll take this seriously. 3-1 to us.

This will definitely be on TV on Saturday as Liverpool and United both have matches on the Wednesday previous. My guess would be the 12:45 kickoff as there is only one train back to Middlesborough after a late kickoff, and that's at 8:00, which boro supporters would be at a stretch to make.

first of all I can guarantee that for as long as we stay in the FA CUP this season we will NOT play an FA Cup game at 3pm on a Saturday. Those days have sadly gone.

secondly when did TV ever consult train timetables with regard to kick off times.
