Champions League

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

2-3 now. Both teams attacking with pace and even shooting from outside the box, imagine that.

0-2 Dortmund

Best thing that could've happened to shut up this moronic media obsession with the Scousers supposedly being better supporters than other clubs. Fucking silence.
TBF never saw first half but watching second and it's a great game from both sides and both sets of fans making a great atmosphere.

Unbelievable 5-4 on aggregate! Dortmund were a bit suspect on a couple of those goals though and a bit wasteful going forward.

BVB with an Arsenal like performance, open as the parting of the red sea.

Reminds me of Arsenal. Much rather play like Atletico!

Liverpool through!

Hate the bastards with a passion but fair play.....that was an amazing comeback and a fantastic game of football

I wonder when we'll see our lot come from 1-3 down against a top European side and win the game? We'd have had a half empty bowl and a load of lost sheep wandering round feeling sorry for themselves at 1-3

They didn't didn't create anywhere near as many chances as pool and the best team one though that free kick at the end was inches wide for Dortmund.

Anyhow back to the ironing lady and I will have a beer 8)

They did the first half, should have scored more. You do the ironing, I'm having a beer myself.

Not sure how I feel about that, love a good comeback against the odds against every hipster c*nts favourite 2nd club, but we will hear about Liverpool's ''courageous fight'' for months. The Dipper/Dortmund pre-match love in was vomit inducing.

The fact that Klopp can beat a Dortmund side with Sakho and Lovren as CBs trumps anything Wenger has done in the last decade.

Another famous European night under the Anfield lights.

England's greatest club. A special club. With special fans. Congratulations Liverpool FC :barscarf:

Seriously Dortmund are the new Arsenal, they were so in control at 2-0 anything but a comfortable win was criminal.
May have been a great game but it was a horrible watch for neutrals as any objectivity was never happening.
How Michael Owen can earn a living as a pundit is beyond me..He is a clueless biased tosser. Towards the club he was happy to leave and happier to play for their hated rivals.
The whole Hillsborough thing again and the "special relationship" between both sets of fans was nauseating. I respect Hillsborough ad the families of the dead but stop milking it..If there was that relationship between the fans why did a Liverpool player find it necessary to taunt the Dortmund fans at full time.?
Sakho clearly and deliberately held the Dortmund defender to allow Lovern a free header for the winner..fair play he got away with it but it was a foul.
I am a bitter man when it comes to Liverpool and their on/off fans in this City. They did rescue a lost cause last night that Arsenal wouldn't have.. But why has everything they do have to have Hillsborough and Istanbul references?
