Man City HOME Sunday August 12th 4pm

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

So if not Monreal at left back? who??
Nope, who’s on first base - can’t play left back too.

So no Ozil, Xhaka, Ramsey, Bellerin, Monreal,Torriera . So who are you going to play? Kolasinac is injured so it cant be him. Maybe we can draft in a left back from the reserve team, or better yet, we can forego a left back & put no one in front of De Bruyne!!

Torriera spent 2 years playing in Serie A & started for Uruguay at the World Cup, yes he is unproven in the PL (means nothing by the way, (Messi would be unproven in the PL)), the only way he gets PL experience is to.........play in the PL.

I have no idea what your talking about or your thought process for picking a team.
Jesus weeping Christ. You are the one saying drop Ozil. Notice my use of the question mark. That means I'm questioning your logic ffs.

My point is you cannot play a midfield composed of Xhaka Ramsey and Torriera whilst dropping the only truly creative player we have. You have to play Ozil PLUS any two of the others based on form or ability to work in the new system.

AM-N is a midfielder but is still a better left back than Monreal. The point again if you read the fucking post is you cannot play TWO dud backs like Bellend and Monreal and end up with nothing coming in from the wings.

Sometimes I think you started watching football about three years ago.
DB mate, you seem to have gone all rogue lately

I dunno Lefty mate I just find as I get older I have a shorter (steady now  ) fuse for horseshit.

I feel your pain brother 8)
Yep. The level of stupidity on here at times is astonishing and embarrassing tbh. And as a mod I have to read all this shit. The interwebs has given a voice to idiots that previously you'd never hear splutter their uninformed horseshit.

Herr letargic will play so it will 10 v the best team in Britain .

A few pretty passing patterns through.

Quote:"Whenever [Bayern*] played against Arsenal, we played over him because we knew that was their weak point".

*Since 2014 v Bayern W1 L4 D 1 F6 A22 .Lots of beautiful passes though

Quote:“Nine men are torturing themselves for 90 minutes and he’s going for a walk".

Quote: "He has been playing shit for years," Hoeness told Sport Bild. "He last won a tackle before the 2014 World Cup. And now he and his shitty performance hide beyond this picture.[translation -it's even worse now]

BTW our opps want him to play..embarrassing eh..
It's OK we are used to it. 99% of your posts are embarrassing.

Still you go on ahead there son. You are building quite the reputation as our dumbest ever poster - which is quite an achievement on here!

Next post, as well as quoting fat old men that know nothing about football, can you also name that player that once took the ball off him because like that kinda like really makes your like argument like solid. Like.

Jesus.... you've twigged it. It was never Wenger as the problem. It was always our current best player, the setter of PL assist records and the player on a par with the PL's best for chances created.

Seriously, you probably need to stop posting on here for a while. You are making yourself look more stupid with every post.

Sorry Telly, I know the only spats you like to read on here are your own, but I have a sacred calling from Baby Jebus to challenge stupidity wherever I encounter it. It's the reason I respond to so many of your posts!

Sorry everyone but i see nothing but a City win. Not saying we will play poorly just that City are too good for most teams in this league, including us.
We aren't on their level due to years of going backwards and its not going to turn around all of a sudden.
1-3

Citeeh are miles ahead of EVERYONE else for sure - I had hoped that we might sneak a positive result out of it due to emery's new gameplanning, but looking at the runaround the chavs gave us in the first half last week, and the runaround citeeh gave them last Sunday, has me seriously worried about Sunday's game
I agree and I don't think anyone is kidding themselves and seriously expecting us to win. The sensible money is on citeh.

But.....

The PL does throw up strange results and if they drop their game and we can raise ours then certainly a draw and maybe even a win is possible. Possible but not probable.
One thing is for sure, to be sure!...
No more fucking arse holing that Wenger put us through, I and England expects that the Mighty Arse puts on a magnificent display against the Premiership holders and send them back with their HOT meat and potato pies rammed up their arse holes...

In total, he has scored five goals and claimed eight assists in 31 Premier League appearances against Chelsea, United, City, Tottenham and Liverpool
Source Skysports stats.

Opps want him to play every game.

Don't read this eh: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football ... struggles/
