Haven't been on this site for a while.
Too depressed with the footie.
Read your thread and thought...
Have you ever considered taking up politics? I'd vote you in as Prime Minister.
Cheered me up no end and brought back the faith.
WE CANNOT FAIL TO WIN THE LEAGUE NOW
(Shame someone ruined it by reminding me that we still have to play Utd away, but sod 'em...world domination is ours!).

Glad its having the desired effect.
Though PM is one step too far (though if you could help me get my hands on some of the money Mr Darling's handing out next door, I'd be happy to pass on a few £££ to the occupiers of Emirates Stadium, London)

What's the point? We wouldn't spend and we've already enough money in our bank accountstevie_b_19 wrote:Thanks - actually its really made me chuffed to have had such a positive response from you guys.donkeywinsthe derby wrote: Have you ever considered taking up politics? Unless we send someone from the government in to spend the money for us too. Actually, no, that would mean it would be wasted i.e. spending £16m on Bent, or £19m on Carrick.

We will beat Bolton, I'm confident of that - leaving us above Chelsea, and only 3 points behind Man Utd. Arsenal win
.

Haha, what a boost for the lads that win should be.
COME ON VILLA!

It's funny but after Chelsea's result today I did check his predictions for the weekend!!! Does that make me a sad git? Or a dreamer?!
However, after re-reading the whole of Stevie's thread it did remind me that he's got West Ham down to get a draw at their place. I did choke on my beer at that point. Still, where there's hope........
PS Seeing Freddie pull up with his hamstring for the 15th time this season was sad. The end is nigh I fear!!

THAT'S WHY THEY GAVE ME HOPE. IT'S NOT LIKE STEVIE WAS PREDICTING OUTLANDISH RESULTS UNLIKELY EVER TO HAPPEN. THEY WERE ALL REASONABLY FEASIBLE OUTCOMES TO MATCHES THAT LEAVES US WITH A SQUEAK.
THE PROBLEM IS MAN UNITED ARE FLYING AND WE'RE GOING TO NEED A RESULT THERE, AMONGST OTHERS, TO REALISTICALLY STAND ANY CHANCE.

They are flying but I couldn't help thinking yesterday that all it takes is for Ronaldo or Shrek or hopefully both to do a hamstring and I reckon their fire may be dampened. At the moment it's a dream but we've had some basterd luck with injuries this season so maybe some of it might be passed onto ManUre in the remaining few games.
It's a fookin' long shot but it's a funny old game!!
