Yes I know of that interview, but Redknap has come out with new comments today (was on Sky Sports News this morning) He'll end up at Spurs imo.

where has this sudden belief come from that joe cole will be a ****?? bit confused really. all the papers were saying arsenal, and harry redknapp said he believed cole had agreed a move elsewhere.

The fact that Redknapp has now said he wants to talk to Cole means no deal was ever reached and Redknapp thinks he's gettable. Spurs will pay a fortune on his wages, and its in London with CL Football. I can only see one outcome

I am going to stick my neck out on the play here but I would rather we signed ballack

I know I am going to get lambasted (not for the first time mind

) but ballack feels more of a need in that (a) he is big and strong (b) is strong in the air & (c) will bring real experience both as a player and a winner. Cast aside your engerland goggles for one minute and you might actually agree with some of these points

Not for me. Ballack slows plays down too much & weâ€™ve already got a few too many of those in our midfield. Heâ€™s not mobile enough anymore to play the 3rd midfielder role alongside or between Cesc/Cescâ€™s replacement & Song. Think we need someone more dynamic there, quicker to close players down & more of a driving force.
