My only anger today was that cleverley escaped with a warning just before wilshere was sent off in exactly the same circumstances, and the fact that what turn out to be the winning goal came about from a clear offside that wasn't given.....

Positives today......we scored the best goal of the match, wilshere looking stronger with every game, santos not raped..... And fantastic support from the travelling gooners!

I know there are some on here who will be disappointed that this wasn't a whitewash. Who will use this performance as another excuse for wenger bashing.... This time though I think you are wrong. Defeat at norwich was fair game, but today I can live with.....
You are kidding right? You can live with being shown infront of the nation that your team are not a serious threat to anyone? This is why nothing will change. If performances and results like this don't get you angry then I despair. With all due respect, you sound like you are happy with mediocrity (and this mediocrity does not come cheap following The Arsenal these days!)

That means you'll be consumed until Summer 2016/17 mate. Self harm is here to stay !

2-1 might give the semblance of competitiveness but it was just as competitive as last year. Fucking van Persie actually pitied us, he bottled taking the pen and didn't look like he really fancied it all game. He could have easily had a hat-trick today against that defence but he felt sorry for us which is embarrassing. Ferguson set up fairly negatively and banked that we would give them plenty of chances anyway, and sure enough we obliged by gifting them two goals (and it should have been more). We were in the game for about 5 or 10 minutes after Walcott came on and that was it. It was all so predictable, I've never been so sure before a game that we're going to lose.

Nice to get our standard shit reffing decision though, dreadful tackle by Cleverley through the back of Wilshere after he was past him. Yellow card every day of the week unless it's a United player at OT, how referees constantly get away with spineless decisions like that is beyond me.

Sorry, but Wenger could take a lesson from Ferguson 'the douch' in this case. AW should've taken Jack off when he was nearly given a second yellow earlier in the match. I'm sorry, I want to still believe in Wenger, but he's had too many fuckups in recent times.

When we moved to the Grove, it was to compete 'with Europe's elite'. That subsequently got downgraded to the domestic elite and it now doesn't even stretch to London's elite

Perhaps we should move back south of the river where we can compete with South London's elite - watch out Palace and Charlton we're coming to get you

What a load of rubbish that was from Arsenal and Arsene..yeah two big decisions went against us in terms of the offside and red card (or lack of one for Cleverley) but we lay down and accepted that United were our betters for far too long in the game.. We were toothless, leaderless and spineless on and off the pitch. The first half was summed up by the smiley :censored: Santos looking for Van Persie's shirt at half time. Notice Van Persie didn't ask for Santos' shirt, if Fergie saw him with an opponents shirt at half time he would crucify him. Something about winning mentality .That is lacking in our club.
I thought Mert played well , and Caz to a lesser extent. Can't say much else positive but again the traveling fans were outstanding. There is a malaise within the club but what is far worse is the acceptance of this malaise from within.

Indeed they were and yet our current owner allows the Chairman to abuse them publically.

Well done to all those who travelled up there and endured that tedium again. I don't know how you keep doing it - this owner, board, manager and team are completely undeserving of your support
