Yeah! Absolutely pointless! I know for sure I wouldn't gain any enjoyment from it and quite frankly it would get in the way of my negative agenda!

Pointless!

The champions League would be HUGE for this club, and if winning it means Wenger tinkers around with his team like he has done for 5 more years, then so be it. It would be worth it to FINALLY say we have won the European Cup... which is the glaring omission from the trophy cabinet of this wonderful club.

So he should have done because he has had the best squad to try and win it, in 2006, but Wenger is tactically inept and will never win it, no matter at what club he is

Are the posts on here genuinely supposed to be funny?

How can you possibly say he is so tactically inept he will never win it? He got us to the final, where we had a bloody good go with 10 men and were it not for Henry missing that chance and a better replacement keeper, we would have won. So please do explain to me how tactics were the reason we lost? Strangely enough, I seem to remember him being tactically good enough to beat Real Madrid and Juventus on the way there.

I would also like to know, how you can see into the future and categorically state he will never win it? He got to within less than 45 minutes of winning it with us, is it really that big of an impossibility he could go to Real Madrid and win it? I don't think so, but please do tell me why this is beyond his capability.

Vlad he got very close to winning it with a bloody good team and good teams and good players will sometimes mask poor tactics regardless of what club or manager you are talking about. I am not for one second saying we lost that game cos of wenger's tactics so try not to tar me with that brush cos my statement is a more general response to your claiming that his tactics defeated madrid and juve

sorry aguie, i'm pretty sure that by that time you'd have agreed that he is not a poor tactician (or whatever it's named). the invincibles were tactically very good.

you don't win only with good players. i watched a lot of matches of that real madrid team with ronaldo, roberto carlos, beckham, figo, zidane, raul... and watched them get fucked in the buttocks by small spanish teams with average players but very well set up defences.... like ours in 2006  (which was, by the way, flamini as left back, SENDEROS, touré and EBOUÉ - you don't think they are good players now, do you?).
