IT'S TIME FOR ACTION (NOT RED ACTION)
IT'S TIME FOR ACTION (NOT RED ACTION)
It is surely time that the disgruntled faithful let Wenger and the board know how they feel.
The time has come for "WENGER OUT" and "SACK THE BOARD" banners. Wenger's reign is over and he must be made aware of it. It is imperative that he goes before the summer, in order for a new pair of hands to come in and take the helm, and reassure the players that things will change, and give them a chance to believe in the new manager.
Any player who then still wants to leave in the summer can go and good fucking riddance to whoever they may be.
To say Wenger should be given a chance to sort things out in the summer is ridiculous, ffs how many chances does he need. The world and his wife can see the glaring inadequacies in the squad, and indeed in Wenger himself, that's why there can be no more chances.
Thanks for the memories Arsene, but unfortunately thats now all we have, and they are becoming more and more tainted with each pathetic excuse and dismal performance.

He said that last season as well, and will say it again next season if he is allowed to continue.Mikegooner87i wrote:Wenger said to judge him at the end of the season and that is what i think we should do. Should we do what we all expect us to do and win fuck all again, then he should resign.
Cant say i agree with the banners as this will do fuck all but unsettle the team and risk loosing more games!
He also said before this run of games, that if he didn't think we could win the league, then he would leave. So this question should now be put to him again after Wednesdays game.

I think AW has earned a bit of respect Sid, I hope he realises when his time is up and to be fair it isnt in February, Technically (we wont) we can still win the title and we are still in the champs league!! he has earned the right to finish what he started but if we are potless in May again (which we will be) and he dosent come out and say yeah we need 3 experienced players and i hope to sign these ASAP (he wont) I think then is the time!!
I hope he knows the time is right as like I say our greatest manager of all time deserves more respect than Wenger out banners, surely you agree??

What if he doesn't, and as you say you don't think he will address the situation. Why should we wait, he has had 3 seasons to sort things out and hasn't. And on those grounds he has lost my respect.ambarron wrote:I think AW has earned a bit of respect Sid, I hope he realises when his time is up and to be fair it isnt in February, Technically (we wont) we can still win the title and we are still in the champs league!! he has earned the right to finish what he started but if we are potless in May again (which we will be) and he dosent come out and say yeah we need 3 experienced players and i hope to sign these ASAP (he wont) I think then is the time!!

I see were your coming from sir but I already started a thread on this last week and my conclusion is that a protest hasnt be started cos the fans are by and large happy.goonersid wrote:It is surely time that the disgruntled faithful let Wenger and the board know how they feel.

Otherwise the fans would have went down the route of Man U and Liverpool by bringing banners into the ground.

Tbh here ambarron I think your arguement has 1 major flaw in it......in wenger-world he is never wrong so he will not believe that we need those 3 players in the summer like he didnt believe it in january and didnt believe it last summer. In my opinion wenger has earned the right to resign rather than be sacked but the club comes first so if he wont resign then he should be sacked and if we go out of champs league before the smi's then I think the board should have hiddink signed up to take charge in the summer so that cesc and arshavin know that we are bringing in a winner to improve

Does anyone really think anything will be any different in 12 mths time?
I gave up on Wenger in 2008 when we were top of the league and with 2 quality signings we would have pissed it.Thats when he should have left
He may replace Almunia but only with that other clown Flapianski
He is just too stubborn to change his ways.He knows he wont be sacked by the tossers on our board. So he can continue Project Wenger.
Cesc will be long gone by then

Anyone who thinks Wenger is going anywhere before the end of his contract is sadly mistaken. The only possible way it would possibly happen is if we were taken over. The current powers that be will have Wenger in for the next 10 years if they could. My hope is that come the end of next season, Wenger will decide to go of his own accord.
