If i were the French FA i would speak to Domenech when he gets back just before i gave him his cards, to find out who the instigators and their followers were and make sure none of them ever play for France again regardless of who they are..they need to clean this attitude out of French international football for good...

Good post BG, the first point is true. Its eating away and away @ football. Players thinking they are better than the manager (even if he is a complete maniac) If all the players @ Arsenal refused to go to training because a player had been dropped because of a management decision, fans would go mad...''we pay our ticket prices and they can't even turn up to training'' Maybe they do need to stand up to the FFF but surely now isn't the time.

Also, what you said about the FFF is a good point, they should chuck out the problem makers and not let them wear the jersey again. Maybe they are big names but they don't seem to productive atm? And sometimes these egos need shipping out, just like we did with Adebayor.

If I was Blanc, I would make sure I found out who was causing problems at this tournament and make sure they never return.

The old guard needs to be let go. Vieira has gone and to follow him Henry,Anelka and Gallas. Those 3 will be no use for Euro 2012 IMO , so time to move them and their egos out.

After that the other troublemakers no matter what the age need to be let go. So if these allegations about Ribery, Evra etc, are true then they need to be removed for good. No ifs or buts. World Class on there day they maybe but cliques, bullying , dressing room poison doesn't go.

They have a fantastic understudy for Evra in Clichy anyway. Ribery is not the only winger in France.

They must assess the egos of the young players. Nasri, Benzema, Ben Arfa were left out due to issues with certain players. That needs to be sorted or they need to be left out in the cold.

Lassana Diarra, Malouda other troublemakers. Buck up or get out.

Even without all these players they can still put together a decent team.
Get guys like Gomis,Cisse, Mandana, Clichy , Valbuena , Gignac, Lloris, Toulalan, Diaby, Gourcuff, A. Diarra, Gouffran, Mexes, Moussa Sissoko, Briand, Remy even Saha.

That is a great core to begin with and all the egos removed. Promote in some from their good U21 side and you have a great young side to begin with.

Don't try and complicate the issue.

Player speaks like that to a manager and he has to walk..............equally a manager talks like that to a player the same applies.

Anelka didn't like being dropped?..........i'm surprised judging by the way he played.

Anelka hadn't been dropped, he was just given instructions at half time to play as the manager wanted him to because he hadn't in the first half..then Anelka told him to f*ck off...then he was replaced and rightly so..

It's a French thing.

I remember reading Pierre Poitevin's book "La mutinerie de La Courtine" and he spoke of the French soldier's getting a huff on because their General had told one of them, a Private Hanelki to advance into no man's land. Hanelki refused and dropped his rifle. Hanelki was sent back to the brig to await court martial.

In the mean time one of Hanelki's squad mates, a Corporal Evran, got involved in a row with one of the Training Sergeants and then suddenly announced to war reporters that the rest of the army were dropping their rifles and this led to the famous mutiny at Chemin des Dames on May 27, 1917.

All along the line the Snail Murders dropped their rifles and refused to represent their country.

Yep - they have previous, the Surrender Monkeys.

Question for ye....I seen on the back pages of one of todays papers (didnt read the article only the headline) that wenger is none too impressed at events in the french squad but does wenger have a right to stick his oar in ? Should he have the right to get on the blower to sagna, clichy and diaby and express his annoyance at their participation in this strike and "advise" them against repeating it ? If the players are also deemed to be representing our club should he make that point clear to them ? Or of course there is the view that it has absolutely nothing to do with wenger or Arsenal.

Tbh I am not sure where my own views on this scenario lies - on one hand I can totally see the point that really it is an internal matter and nothing to do with the clubs but on the other hand I would hate for our players to jump in with a coup when that revolt is bang out of order. Imagine how we would feel if we had players involved in the england coup and who were rowing in behind scumbag terry....we would be embarased wouldnt we ? Players are in a tricky situation when they dont want to oppose their team-mates and risk alienation but at the same time people are supposed to have a mind of their own

No decisions has been taken yet, but he will surely be.
I'm not sure we'll miss him.
