Of course anelka has previous but I have to say that any player at their level must find it deeply frustrating playing under such a dickhead manager

Everybody talk about it in France. At HT of the last game, Domenech told to Anelka to stay upfront, to stop coming back in the middle. And Anelka replied "Go fuck yourself! you son of a bitch!" the Domenech said "What?! you're Out!" Gignac replaced Le Sulk, but the team lost 2-0.
After the game Anelka was smiling while the other players were devastated.
Anelka has been owful during te last 4-5 games with France, no goals, he didn't run, no belief, nothing.

Gallas is aswell very criticized, he acted like a prick during the whole WC. He didn't train everyday, only when it was sunny. He refused to go on press conference. And at the last game, after the final whistle, the brave TV journalist came to Gallas and he replied "Fuck!" and gave him a finger.

That's the french elegance

This isnt the first clash domenach has had with one of his players so at what point does the spotlight shine on the manager and conclude that he is the problem ?

I think the players won't play many world cups in their career. It's up to them to act like professional and do their job. We've got too many brainless players like Gallas, Anelka, Ribery, etc ... who only think about them and act like divas.
Of course Domenech should be the Boss, but he let some players do what they want thinking it would help the team (like in WC 2006). Wrong choices!

oh please from radford. yes the manager is a plank but the french players are complete arseholes and to think otherwise is delusion.

radford has never seen a more moody and glum bunch than this group of garlic crunchers

Anelka is banned from France team, you won't see him with the France shirt again. His only great game was the one against England, at Wembley.
