My sincerest apologies then. Though let's be clear I was not comparing anyone to racists in terms of their treatment of me. I was comparing their desire to impose their conrol over the editorail content of all things discussed here but their unwillingness to acknowledge they were doing that because they no deep down it is wrong and not how they would want to be treated themselves. But not wrong enough for them to be able ro willing behave properly and reasonably. It was like racists in the South here attacked camera men filming them beating up Blacks. They would rather try to convince people it wasn't happening or it wasn't their fault than simply change their behavior..
That is all I meant by that though I do understand your point there DB10 and I apolgize if my analogy offended or touched an old nerve with anyone. But I still think that my descirption of the behavior there and above in this post. of these individuals is spot-on. Just as I am solely resposible for making the point you criticized me for quite rightly. No one made me do it because no one makes me do anything. You're still saying that their decisions and the views that they hold when moderating this forum leads to certain views being censored, namely yours. You said "i challenge you to find an example where i have claimed a moderator to be censoring me"; well the above shows that! You, regardless of saying whether they are doing it intentionally or intending it to happen, are clearly saying that DB10s actions have led to certain views being censored. That is you blatently complaining that, even if it is not what the mods intend, your views have been censored.

No you see there is a difference between pointing out the consequences of an individual's actions and discerning their intent. I agree largely though not entirely - after all the post that began this thread was about Arsenal. But that was neither my choice nor my intent. That is the choice and intent of a few individuals not satisfied with hounding opinions they do not like off certain htreads. They want to force them off any and all threads. We've just been watching my housemate clear the mountain of snow off his car only to realise that he'd cleaned the wrong car! - idiot!
My mom once walked out of a shop at night and hopped into what she thought was my dad's car, squeezed the guy's leg and told him to drive on. It was of course the wrong car and the guy just said (jokingly) "Where to, luv?". She nearly died with embarrassment. My old man nearly died laughing at her as he sat in the car behind the one she had just hopped into!

II actually had that happen recently. I was helping my mom (as we Yanks call her) get her christmas tree and while she was getting new wreaths I put the tree in the trunk and hopped in the car and waited. and watched as she got in the car parked right in front of her car ( I have epilepsy so I ddo not drive though I can)so she couldn't even recognize her own car or son apparently (or maybe she just doesn't like long posts questioning the Board either )
And she doesn't even realize the guy next to her is not in fact me and only when she couldn't fit the key in the iignition did she realize what she done. Thankfully she knew better than to squeeze his leg because I'd never be able to ride with her again otherwise!
