Scum fans changing their tune

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

bournmouth....new fan base over time plus massive of easy corp revenue from canary wharf (especially as it continues to develop, wood wharf etc), and im not sure about this myth of them not selling out reguarly either

mk gould, sorry your wrong, short term pain long term pain if they move.

thye will have greater revenue streams than us if they move to stratford so long term they arelikley to be more successful than us and assume the position we had over them

still im sure we will all find it hilarious that they moved when they are reguarly finishing above us due to the massve revenues there getting from the stratford stadium (not saying this will happen saying it really could happen, if they get stratford site, stay at the lane and they are screwed)

it will complete out transformation into them if it happens, the weaker club giving the bigger one grief cos they moved...........

good news as far as I am concerned, although it's only the preferred bidder or some such thing.

The tiny totts must have spent a good few sheckles on their plans, feasability studies etc, so money down the drain hopefully.

Now they have to decide to rebiuld the shithole at an exhorbitant cost, while carrying on playing there under lower crowds while it is redeveloped or starting all over again and looking for another site godknows how many miles away

Either way, win-win for us :barscarf:

I agree i think its a smoke screen to allow them to get whatever they want at SHL
Maybe - after all we did put in a bid for Wembley Stadium in 1999 then withdrew it suddenly.

But I have a far far better example.

A few years back the New England Patriots could not get approval to build a new stadium in Foxboro outside Boston, so they contacted the Governor of the state pof Connecticut right after we had lost our only major League sports franchise the Hartford Whalers of the National Hockey League. Their owner said he was willing to listen to offers to come to Connecticut and reportedly a deal was reached, and everyone was so thrilled because the Patirots were coming to Connecticut., especially my mom whio lives right near where the stadium was being built in East Hartford.

And I told her Mom, the Patriots will not come to Connecticut. the NFL won't let them, and they know it. The Boston TV market is too valuable to the NFL and the Patriots would lose it. They are forcing The Mass Government's hand and suckered our Governor into helping them. And sure enough the Mass Government caved and gave them their new publicly funded stadium and left Connecticut and its governor hanging.

Anyway as a footnote I called my mom and said I was gonna mention her on this forum and before I even finished on what the discussion was about she just said "fuck you" and hung up....

*SIGH* ... Good Times
