Silver and Red Membership Renewals, massive price increase

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The membership rise is a disgrace, Stan is not starting well.

A productive afternoon's work don't you think?

I think Ken Friar in particular looks a real treasure in that dress...

decided not to renew my red membership for next season. since i live far away and there's the supporters club for tickets anyway, i only used to pay for it to have the card on my wallet and be able to say "i am a member of arsenal fc". now i don't see a reason to do it.

sincerely, unless the club starts showing me a reason for me to spend my money on them, i will cut the unnecessary spending.

the fact the i love this club and will keep on doing so until my last days does not mean that i will keep on spending my hard fought money on it. i will never mind spending over half of my wages on arsenal stuff if i know i'm helping to improve the club and the squad, but i do NOT want simply to help some bunch of rich fellas become even richer. sorry, but money it's too hard to earn here where i live to do that.

If we're going to dance to a song in the stands it should be the Pet Shop Boys "Opportunities" - the chorus seems perfect for this bunch and could even be their mission staement

"...Let's make lots of money..."

Yes but in the same verse it says "you've got the brains". We need to find someone employed by the club befitting of that line......although I've heard the tea lady did well in her GCSE Home Economics
