Arsenal agreed my Season Ticket move today. Now lower tier, in the same row as my mates. The Club were really good about it. Credit where credit's due.

I got a letter from Arsenal today about giving up my season ticket and going to Silver (as a bondholder).
I am absolutely delighted with what they had to say -

- I can become a Silver Bond Member for just £12

- I get access to tickets 1 week before any 'standard' silver member

- I am guaranteed a ticket for every home game

- If I want, I can give up my Season Ticket AND silver membership for 5
years without losing any long term entitlement

- I can take a season ticket back whenever I like as long as I let them
know in May. I'd get a choice of whatever seats are available

Well done Arsenal!

That sounds great. Is the key thing though that you are a bondholder?

Or would they offer this sort of deal to anyone who wanted to downgrade for a season or two?

So, the predicted 20% of Arsenal fans giving up their season tickets has turned out to be 33% in the case of forum members....

yeah, it's because I'm a bondholder - I thought they were worthless these days but looks like they are good for something! I'm a lot happier now I know I can pick and choose whilst Wenger is there but take up a ST again when he fucks off. :barscarf:

Has anyone that didn't already have a season ticket been offered one yet? I am not sure when this is done.

Usually about mid-July i think. Takes them a few weeks after the deadline to figure out what seats are available & where I guess...
