MAN UTD VS BARCELONA: CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL 2011

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

With no particular preference I can sit back, enjoy it and hope to see some epic stuff from the likes of Messi and Hernandez. If you actually like football, as opposed to wallowing in the tribalism that goes with it, and thus refusing to let yourself relish some class players, then more fool you for being so bitter and petulant.
Well seeing such a load of shit in one post has really fucked me off.

I hope you choke on your smugness you self-righteous pompous sanctimonious c**t.

I really hope you are a WUM because you are everything I hate about Arsenal 'fans'.
Ha ha, calm down, you are very angry and bitter. I knew it would smoke out the ranter and ravers. Is it really impossible to just watch it as a game where you don't care about the outcome, but want to see some good football? (not that you would care about that!)
I think it was the sneering, holier-than-thou tone of your post more then anything.

Besides, there is a difference between watching and appreciating the football and speculating on the outcome/deciding which set of *word censored* you would rather win.

Cannot for the life of me understand how some Gooners would want the red mancs to win ? :?  Are barca cheating diving bastards ? Of course they are but for every alves I will point to nani, for every biscuits I will point to shrek and for every whining puyol I will point to big lips junkie ferdinand so they aint that different there tbh.

At the end of the day the mancs are our rivals, they are the team we will be battling with for 3 domestic prizes whilst we can only meet barca in a competition that we have fcuk all hope of winning anyway :( Have they behaved deplorably over their tapping up of cesc ? Without a doubt but as flash pointed out it's not as if we were innocent in our persuit of chamakh  Of course if barca win sky and the rest of the media will ***** themselves silly over them but it will be nothing to the crap we will have to listen to if the mancs beat what is regarded as one of the best club sides in football history - it doesnt bear thinking about :worried:

Btw does anybody know what colours barca are wearing tonite ? Am gonna watch it in our local manure pub and have to wind the *word censored* up for the craic

If the Mancs win we will never hear the end of it.

They used to be, when we were vying for trophies with them, but six years of falling way behind them has changed that.

Certainly can't cheer on Barca either tonight. So I think I'll give it a miss.

Can't agree with any if that, barca are 10 times the cheats the mancs are, I for one hope manure win, I won't actively support them but I hope they bury the *word censored*, that said I doubt they will win.

I hope they do better it, there are far more lpool fans round here than mancs and all they go on about is five fuckin European cups so i look forward to giving them stick when they are overtaken by their bitter rivals.

I heard on the radio yesterday that Utd lost the toss and will be wearing their white shirts and black shorts. Therefore one assumes Barca will be wearing their usual home kit.

By the way augie, I also agree with your summary and thus want Barcelona to win tonight. :barscarf:

I hardly dare to say it, but I hope Man United wins tonight.
For simply one reason: Edwin van der Sar. The best goalkeeper my country has ever had.

Of course I despise United, but I don't hate them as much as Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona. Can't wait to see the Barça *word censored* lose.

Don't see a lot of green and gold on the telly. Funny how that's all gone a bit quiet now that they've won the league and playing in the Champions League Final.

I can't wait to see the reaction of the Utd fans when they go 5 years or so without winning anything, crowds of 20,000 at best inside Old Toilet i bet  It will happen. Maybe not for 5, 10, 20 or more years but it will definitely happen.

Gan on United. Not exactly a rival of Sunderland (since we're shite), an English club, not as diving cuntish as barca, not totally built by a billionaire like Chelsea, got one of the best ever managers in charge. Good luck Man United

Evra, Fanny Lips, Granny Shagger, Nani, "Scholesey", the Neville Neville brothers, Van Horsewank, Lee Sharpe, Mike Riley, Howard Webb, that fucking Giggs goal, Brian McClair, Dennis Irwin, Mike Phelan, Remi Moses (for franksav), Roy Keane, Edward fucking Sheringham, Norman Whiteside, Ronaldo, Paul Ince, Mark Hughes, Anderson, King Funguscum himself, the list goes on…

Even Pique, Busquets, Pedro etc cant compete with that level of cunthood. I want to see United ripped a new arsehole, given a colonoscopy by Abu Hamza and sent home to surrey well & truly embarrassed. Got a horrible feeling they're in with a shout though. :(
