MAN UTD VS BARCELONA: CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL 2011
Anyone excited? or P***ed that Arsenal are not there?
Predictions, scores, and all other B***lock on your mind.

Despise both of them. I know the popular vote amongst Gooners will be to cheer for Barcelona, but "cheering" i.e. actively supporting, such a vile bunch is beyond me I'm afraid. However, win they will, and at 21/20 to do it in normal time with a few bookies is a cracking bet.
United's midfield has been able to cope with the demands of the lowest quality PL for 16 years, but it won't cope with being passed to death by the imaginary card wavers. I also think Ferdinand's lack of pace will get exposed badly on the wide open spaces; again it's a fault that rarely gets exposed in PL games especially at the Theatre of Prawns.
I'll be doing my best to avoid the whole sorry affair as the minute I see Nani, Alves, Mascherano or Pedro writhing around in agony whilst Rooney, Ferdinand, Puyol or Busquets harrass the ref, it will be all I can do to avoid putting a foot through the plasma. At the least I'll have to mute the sound to prevent listening to some smug twat in the studio fervently pulling themselves off the minute Barca put 3 passes together on the halfway line.
Overall, a sorry affair. Somewhat fitting though that the world's most expensive and overpriced stadium is handling the two sets of tourists fans who can't wait to part with hundreds of pounds to take photos of themselves with their camera phones so the Facebook mafia can offer their congratulations.....

My only advance on that is that the dodgy decision actually comes in the last minute of the 120th just so to add the heartbreak !!1989 wrote:Plenty of red cards, injuries and brawls please. As for who wins, don't care really just hope it's decided by a dodgy goal so one of them will spend the summer really pissed off and the other can't claim to have won it "fairly".
Bitter? You bet.
I have this recurring dream of me flying an Apache gunship down to the centrecircle of the Wembley pitch midway though the the 2nd half of the game, using the 30mm cannon to precisely blow up both sets of players (difficult getting the Barca players as they are diving around Matrix style), and using rockets to obliterate the ManUre fans, with a stray bullet finding its way to Twitchy.....
Do I need help?

Love the Champions League Final, especially when there's an English team there. The only English sides I wouldn't support in a final are Chelsea and Man City (due to the money which is ruining the game) and Newcastle and Middlesbrough (for obvious reasons), oh, and not that they'll ever get there, but QPR for ripping their (and other teams) fans off, *word censored*. I'm glad its on a Saturday this time as I normally have to avoid getting pissed when the finals on due to having work the next day, so I'm looking forward to chilling me Heineken keg thing (that was free from Sky), getting a few cans in the fridge, and having an enjoyable day on the piss, starting with watching the League 2 playoff final at 3 and then the CL final later on. This week I've already been missing having decent games on through the week so I'm dead chuffed to have another good day of football before the drought begins!
Gan on United, beat the cheating bastards

I'll watch it because it's one more football match before the soon to be summer drought of football. But I hate The Whores. Only thing is I fucking hate Manure even more.
I look forward to a final that is shameful and filled with injuries, sendings off, controversy, diving, cheating, play-acting and a couple of brawls just so all the media bastards will have no choice but to drop the whole "let's kiss the ringpieces off Manure and The Whores" agenda they are on.
Mackem, I get your whole Engerlish team thing but how you can bring yourself to cheer the likes of Evra, Grannyraper, Piglips, Anderson and Nani (cheating diving cuntbags all) over the other shower of cheating diving cuntbags is beyond me.
For me it has to be a Whore win, but by a truly epic bad reffing decision that devalues their win and leaves the bitter taste of dead wino cock in the mouths of all Manure "fans" the world over.
Yes I too am fucking bitter.
