EURO 2012 Qualifiers

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yeah i noticed that, it happens every international break. And yet stick in the kit of those who pay his wages and he stinks the place out 9 times out of 10.
I watched the game. He didn't do a great deal off the ball. He pretty much had a free role. When you consider that Arshavin is given the same free role for Russia, Van Persie apparently also wants a free role..... Arteta was the same for Everton.

Sums up our team really. No grafters in there. Not convinced that the transfer window has done us any favours. More of the same gents.

arshavin involved loads, being played as a second striker. If only he was played in the rite position for us :banghead:

What an absolute warrior Richard Dunne is. If you're Irish and you don't love this man, you have a problem.

Oh and why is it that Arshavin always plays well for Russia, yet serves up shit for us.

That was some match. I've never seen a team dominated as much come away with a point.

1989 spot on, Richard Dunne wow what a player. That is up there with the greatest defensive performances I've seen from one player ever.

Would have loved if we signed him a few years back, sadly I think he would never suit our style of play.

Ireland were still piss poor though especially creatively. Hope we sneak a play off.

I know were not overwhelmed with talent but trapp consatantly makes real basic errors, he should never have taken off duff, mcgeady again looked dead on his feet after 60 mins. Should have taken off keane instead of doyle and given mcarthy a chance ahead of cox.

The real problem eire have is the center midfeilders are awful, whealan and andrews not good enough at all.

slagging off an ex arsenal player on an arsenal forum is very wise thing to do mackem

i like hartson. he defends arsenal when he is interviewed and tbh dont know much about his anti-english bias but im sure they have to have a balance of players from the home countries when they play each other.
