EURO 2012 Qualifiers

Post by psychoangus »

Just to take the focus off the billion threads on transfers....

Looking forward to Norn Iron vs. Serbia tomorrow, that group's on a knife-edge for 2nd place. Since being spat at by a group of England fans during the WC for wearing a green and white t-shirt because I must be supporting Algeria, I've vowed never to associate myself with the England team ever again. My mother's Norn Irish so they're my team now. F*ck England and their mediocraty.

I see Republic have got a tough run-in too, top three of their group are on the same amount of points, any comments on that Irish Gooners?

I expect Hummels and Badstuber as CB and Merte on the bench.

Yeah that's another decent game to watch.

I think N. I have a decent chance of qualifying.

I go to a hell of a lot of England games and I am still amazed at just how many knobs attached themselves to the support. One of my best memories was when I saw some young pissed up 'Engerrrland' fans pulling down Belgian flags during euro 2000 and being complete cu*ts to the locals. I watched from the hotel bar as the local police gave them a proper good hiding, bundled them on a bus and got them out the country ASAP. It still makes me smile when I think about it now

He's won't be good enough.

I predict a great future at Ipswich, West Ham, QPR, or.............Palace.

Probably nick a win or draw I think.

England fans are quite the people. I sat in an England pub and watched the Germany game last year. I was the only person whose pre-match prediction wasn't "We'll do 'em easy." When I asked exactly which of our group game performances made them think that I was immediately classed as a traitor and further viewed as some sort of jinx as the goals rained in.

Fucking idiots.
