I really have no interest in what Cesc says or does anymore!

A very good player who under-acheived at Arsenal through a mixture of reasons, some of his making and some out of his control.

I have no malice towards him but at the same time I can't say I have given his departure a second thought. He was gone three years ago and I haven't been to bothered since.

lol not saying we achieved that, considering the players he played with.

Its just that i remember people doubting if we should build a team around, implying he wasn't that great,but now shows even with world class players he still shines.

What was he supposed to say? - he wanted to leave, and we all knew it. He just kept his head down, said nothing and let the clubs sort it out. Quite dignified, really.

To be honest, I always found him polite, respectful and intelligent... anything but a tosser, to be honest. There's plenty of tosser around, but I'd imagine Cesc isn't one of them.

Still, if that's your opinion of him then that's up to you - after all, he's been here for 7 years or so, so I suppose we've all had chance to make up our own mind on the lad. Not sure "tosser" is fair though. Still, each to their own.

I just wish he would shut the fuck up, does anyone really want to hear him spouting on about our situation, he's gone and as far as that I'm glad, he was next to useless last season, a good player that he was, he should never have been made captain, the team should never have been built around him, the policy of nicking very young players from other clubs has to be reviewed as the situation we've had to long endure with him will not be an isolated case in the future, and yes, he is a tosser for the way he acted in the close season (the one before the last one)

I think people are being a bit precious about it though - his comments (which he's denied making anyway) aren't controversial at all, and could quite easily have been made by 99% of us on this forum.

I just don't see what all the fuss is about, that's all.

I still take issue with people calling Cesc a tosser. I just find it very disheartening, but that's life. I'll get over it.

Its the same as being dumped by a girlfriend - you feel bitter and angry as she believes that she is better than you, so you pretend that you never loved her anyway and that she was shit in bed, but the truth is that you cry yourself to sleep at night wanting her back but knowing that you have lost her forever.

Cesc was too good to stay with a midtable medicre club that we are going to be in the very near future.
